"Obama Adviser Accused Catholic Church of ‘Insulting’ Jesus, Accused Pope of ‘Hurting People in the Name of Jesus’"

SNIPPET: "President Obama appointed the HRC activist, Harry Knox, to his Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships on April 6.

Knox was then, and remains, director of the HRC’s Religion and Faith Program. The HRC describes itself as “America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.”

On the day Obama appointed Knox as one of his advisers, the HRC posted a statement by Knox about his new role in the administration.

In the statement, Knox said, “[O]f course, we will support the President in living up to his promise that government has no place in funding bigotry against any group of people.”"

Obama’s faith-based initiatives will only be the ones which worship at the alter of gay rights.

Unlike Mo, I’m pretty sure Jesus can’t be insulted.

“[O]f course, we will support the President in living up to his promise that government has no place in funding bigotry against any group of people.”"

In other words, if you don't agree with them you are a bigot.

Bring it on. I am glad they are bringing this out in the open. Let the battle for the souls of America begin.

Where are the howls for separation of church and state? We are actually witnessing the establishment of state sponsored religion.

It’s the “Church of What’s Happening Now”.

So it’s ok to reach out to the most brutal marxist dictators and shake hands and laugh with them for the camera instead of calling them the evil regimes they are, but not reach out to the Church an “open a dialogue with those we disagree with”?
This administration saves their attacks for conservatives and Christians but makes nice with dictators! Inf***ing credible!!

The ‘Bama will only be pro-Jewish when he and his minions are being anti-Christian. It’s another incarnation of moral relativism.

It took 9 posts for someone to get to the meat of this BS hypocrisy.

"Do as I say, not as I do" will continue ad nauseam.

yes - any disagreement means you are a bigot.

Nevermind they’re bigotry in defining you a bigot.

Nevermind they’re outwardly hostile attitude towards the ancient institution of marriage.

Every living being exists because of the union of one man and one woman. Society’s recognition of marriage confirms this truth and encourages those parents to care for the children that result from that union.
It benefits society to encourage strong families.

They are asking us to throw away a very basic definition. To throw away portions of scripture -therefore our faith.

They are the ones who are being hostile and bigoted while adapting the language of victimhood to cover their tracks.
