Good for you!
I was a little leery of letting go of my walking stick at first, but it’s a great feeling when you can finally ditch it!
I know about the throbbing, and that hurts like H***!
Whatever you do, don’t put heat on it!
It may seem tempting, but your knee would swell like a melon!
(I found that out the hard way)

An interesting day....I feel asleep before finishing my thread last night. So, no problem, I'll finish it at break and lunch.....the IT guys took my old computer to transfer stuff to a brand new Dell with
4 gigs ram!! I got it back about 11:15a.....IT HAS VISTA!! They walked me through sign on...took 3 tries, and just left me. I decided to take the afternoon off to rest my brain and finish my thread (waiting til the last minute is not a good idea).
I played around in Vista, trying to find my stuff. Most is now found, but I had to go to Help to figure out how to shut it off. Tomorrow is a new day. I got home safely. LOL!
I email my threads back and forth to work and home. Guess what? I didn't send it home. So....start all over. d:o)
We are having a baby shower for a coworker tomorrow, so I have to leave for a bit here shortly to pick up the cake at Costco.
How was your day?

Bumper sticker snickers for Testers
Honk if you love to crash software.
Have you hugged your software tester today?
Software Testers: Always looking for trouble.
Software Testing is Like Fishing, But You Get Paid.
Software Testing: When Your System Actually Has to Work
I don’t make software; I make software better.
Improving the world one bug at a time.
Software Testing: You make it, we break it.
Software Testers don’t break software; it’s broken when we get it.
Software Testers: We break it because we care.
To err is human; to find the errors requires a tester.
If developers are so smart, why do testers have such job security?
Test is my copilot.
If your software works, thank a tester.
Old Model-Based Testers Never Die; They Just Transition to a Higher State.
Support spec-based testing: Be code-dependent no more!
Test never sleeps.
Trust, But Verify.
Pertempto ergo sum - I test, therefore I am.
Bugs are a fact of life, testing is a way of life
Testing is like gold digging, the more bugs you find the better
A bug found is a complaint prevented
“A coder tear a day, that’s all we ask.”
In GOD we trust....the rest we test!!!

Much less eventful than yours, apparently - I don't have to contend with Vista yet - computers at home and work both have XP.
I'm going to have to sign off early tonite - hop to see you soon!

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Tonight’s thread reminded me that I forgot YET AGAIN to buy a card for my mom on Mother’s Day. I guess I’ll just have to call her instead (which she’ll probably like more anyway).

Thank goodness it’s Friday...nearly!
Have to work on Mother’s Day so that kind of bums me out, but...oh, well!
Thanks for opening the Canteen for us, Kathy!
