Awwwwwwww....aren’t you the sweetie, Grumpa!
Not me Luv, you would have to see the relationship she has with our grandbabies to really understand.
Mom's are like that, ya know. d:o)
I think I know!
I saw the sparkle in her eyes when she was showing off their pictures last year. Gosh! It’s been a year!
LOL! That’s a good closet, and now you have another. d:o) Diversty, ya know.
Gotta run for a few....need to pick up the baby shower cake at Costco for tomorrow. Be back shortly.
I hate to leave, but I hafta..
Gotta be up early, dang it!
Good night gang!
Hugs alla round!
Evening, Kathy. & Gut Shabbes!
See ya later...or tomorrow! I have to get up early, so might
be gone when you get back. Thanks for your help and for always being here for us! (((hugs)))
Nighty-night, Sis!
Sweet dreams. I will be going soon, too.
Have to get up early, too. Ugh!
Yes...still swamped unfortunatley but trying to get on every chance I get.
Word is we’re going to be getting Vista this year when we upgrade PCs. Can’t wait...
I just tried - it’s asking for authentication...
Thanks, Jinxy. I am gonna work on it.
Nighty-night. Have a wonderful weekend!
(((hugs))) to you and Nana!
Get Vista fer Dummies, you’ll all meed it along with patience and a cuss can for when they take you to Office 2007.
That’s coming, too. The discussion around the table was mixed; good and bad. The boss likes it, the FSE PM doesn’t. I have Office 2007 at home, I can take it or leave it.
Our IT guy said they are using Vista until Windows 7 is the OS of the day. All new ones are ordered with Vista. When 7 comes out and is stable, all new ones will be ordered with 7, and the Vista ones will be upgraded as needed. The really cool thing is I got 4 GB ram! You can never have enough ram. I got a 2 GB stick for my laptop and what a difference it makes with my music stuff.
When next I have to upgrade my desktop, it is going to have LOTS of ram....maybe 6 GB or 8 GB...LOTS!!
I only spent about an hour playing with it, trying to find my stuff. Sign on, the welcoming screen is 100% different, and you use Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the sign in/password screen. Tomorrow morning will be interesting seeing if I remember how to do anything. It took forever to figure out how to turn it off.....there is no button. I had to find the “Help” thingy, which wasn’t easily found either. It told my how to shutdown.
First impression....might be like XP. Looked like tabs. I always have multiple windows open, and I could see thru the top window to the bottom one, at least at the top. Strange.
My IT guy said Vista is here until Windows 7.
Our youngest - the degreed IT Professional - uses Vista on his laptop. I’ll have to have him give me a tutorial next time he comes home for a visit...
