BOLINGBROOK Authorities arrested Drew Peterson Thursday near his Bolingbrook home for the murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio, according to police sources.
Police took Peterson into custody at Weber and Lilly Cache roads.
Savio, 40, was found dead in a dry bathtub in her Bolingbrook home in March 2004.
At the time, Illinois State Police failed to find anything suspicious and her death was ruled an accidental drowning by a coroners jury.

OH OH OH!! I just read Dr. Lee’s book on this (and other) cases!!!!
Now I must update my book report immediately. Oh wait, it isn’t IN the book. Dangit, I’ll just have to talk non-stop about tomorrow with all my other forensic groupie classmates!
This guy’s wife’s crime scene is one we’ll be studying this quarter and we are excited so I’m SURE it will be discussed tomorrow.
Different guy.
Yow! Are they bringing in the bathtub?
Fill the tub...take a bath. Stand up to dry off...reach down to pull the plug or change the toggle thingy..slip and fall hit your head...and drown before all the water drains out?
Probably other scenarios.....
I think the guy is probably guilty...but I am just throwing things out there...........
WOMEN! Don’t marry anyone named “Peterson”.
We have Scott, Drew and Michael.
I’m just teasing, but seriously! Is there some mutant gene from like 1672 that traveled down the path to pop it’s head up in this decade???
No, dangit. We are stuck with power point photos of the crime scene.
Actually, THIS case is even more reason for study than a blood spatter or another such case because of the few relative clues.
But thennnnn we’ll get into the autopsy reports and such. At least the things they’ll allow us to see or have already been released. The rest is under seal.
Blood spatter is next quarter.
For sure. It's not going to be an easy prosecution.
Nope. Now that this happened, I’m wondering if the scene study will be called off.... hmmm
Cowboy: Doc, you ought to be in bed. What the Hell you going this for anyway?
Doc Holliday: Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: I don’t.
One of the best movies of our generation.

“Gee! Someone finally woke up and discovered that a dry bath tub with a body in it was not a drowning?”
Just a case of waterboarding by an amature!
Good, speedy Republican justice in the court system. I hope Drew didn't buy any ripe bananas just before he was arrested.

Who is Drew Peterson?
I cant wait to watch Gretta tonight
Latin lesson from the movie TOMBSTONE
Doc (acting careless, drunk, and not looking very well):
That’s the rumor.
Ringo:
You retired too?
Doc:
Not me. I’m in my prime.
Ringo (sarcastically):
Yeah, you look it.
Doc:
And you must be Ringo. Look, darling, it’s Johnny Ringo. The deadliest pistoleer since Wild Bill, they say. What do you think, darling? Should I hate him?
Kate:
You don’t even know him.
Doc:
Yes, but there’s just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don’t know, reminds me of ... me. No. I’m sure of it, I hate him.
Wyatt (to Curly Bill and Johnny, holding up hands in peace-making gesture):
He’s drunk.
Doc (taking another drink from his tin cup):
In vino veritas.
[a Roman proverb that translates to “In wine, is the truth” or “Wine loosens the tongue”]
Ringo:
Age quod agis.
[literally: “do what you are doing”
meaning: “Pay attention to what you are doing”
or “You’d better be careful” or “Watch what you say”]
Doc:
Credat judaeus Apella, non ego.
[a phrase from a work by Horace, literally:
“Let Apella believe it; not I.”
meaning: “I don’t believe you”
or in this case “I do not fear you.”
or “Tell it to the Marines, not me” ]
Ringo (while patting his revolver):
Eventus stultorum magister.
[”Experience is the teacher of fools”
or “Fools have to learn by experience”]
Doc (half-whispering and with a heightened intensity):
In pace requiescatum.
[”Rest in peace” or “It’s your funeral”]
Tombstone Marshal Fred White:
Come on boys. We don’t want any trouble in here. Not in any language.
Doc Holliday:
Evidently Mr. Ringo’s an educated man. Now I really hate him.
good ... know he won’t get the 100,000 .00 security job at the brothel in Las Vegas “ The Bunny Ranch “
no relation . Just another evil Peterson...
