ARCADIA, Mo. A 3-year-old boy was found in remarkably good condition Wednesday, 50 hours after he wandered away from his home and became lost in the rugged hills of Missouri's Mark Twain National Forest.
Joshua Childers slipped out of his family's mobile home near Arcadia in rural southeast Missouri around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Praise God.
A little young to be playing Huck Finn & Tom Sawyer, isn’t he? :)
So glad to hear that all turned out well, and that this little guy is safe! Can’t imagine what the family went through...
God bless those who searched as well!
...Naaaa, if he doesn’t like it, he might desert...
“Possible career paths include the Navy SEALS or Army Special Forces.”
Too independent. He could do one of those outdoors survival shows though....
I’ve tought my heir apparent how to drive since he was 11, starting in parking lots..
Two years ago, when he was 13, he arranged to find himself driving 70 mph for about twenty minutes on a Wyoming Freeway one Sunday afternoon....
One would hope they're no longer strays ;-)
Get him a good dog. Lord knows, he won't stop him from wandering, but he'll take care of him while they're gone.
I assume that people were probably coming out in droves to apply to adopt them.
This is great news about the little boy! I hope the strays were rescued too.
Here is my big boy. He turned 12 months old in March and is already well over 100lbs. He was 94lbs when he was 9 months old. I haven't had him trained for search and rescue but he has a nose you wouldn't believe. If he figures out how to open the fridge I'm in big trouble! These pictures were taken when I refitted his harness. I have to let it out every month.
That is a lotta dog — What’s his nane? And are you going to train him for S/R?
I took this picture in March when he turned a year old. It will give you more of an idea about how big he is. He's such a lover! He's giving me Bloodhound slobbery kisses. LOL I'm about 145lbs if that puts it into perspective.
You are getting slobbered on in that picture. I remember.
Handsome guy! And very lucky! In our house, we don’t give slobbery doggy kisses, so my lab has to find other people to kiss!
We don’t allow face kissing here either and he knows not to do it but I wasn’t taking any chances. :-) I kept my face turned just in case and it just looked like he was trying to kiss. He will sniff but not kiss. My husband wanted him to attempt to get in the chair with me to see how big he was compared to me. He also knows not to jump on me so it took some coaxing to get him up there. If you look closely you can see that he is not really kissing me, he’s just sniffing. He’s really very well trained.
