After a date night out on Saturday evening, President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama decided to take a stroll when their motorcade arrived back at the White House.
So they began walking on the driveway of the White House South Lawn while holding hands. First they passed the West Wing, then their children's swing set. They kept walking, swinging their hands together.

Same as that >gag me< scenes where Bill and Hillary were dancing on the beach, or when Clinton when walking on the beach at Normandy alone made a cross out of stones (they were placed there purposely for him to do that) ....

"As the Obamas walked behind shrubbery and out of sight, the unscripted moment left reporters guessing where they were going. To the vegetable garden? The basketball court? No final word, but they eventually came back the same way from where they started, rounding out their 8-minute walk."Visit the drop.

God help me for saying this...
Can we have a Helen Thomas thread w/pics instead???
It would be a little easier on the gastrointestinal tract,I think.

Oh lordy, sometimes you just have to laugh.
Maybe we could forward this to one of the British papers and let them taunt the writer. The Brits would sooner undergo cosmetic dentistry than write a slobbering piece like this.
To: SIDENET
Christine Simmons AP writer, sorry I left that out.

What, DATE NIGHT? Chrysler and GM are going bankrupt, the Norks are polishing their next missile, Iran is bombing northern Iraq, the WHO is shouting about a class 6 pandemic, and he GOES ON A DATE?
I guess we know what the priorities are...

Not even remotely “news”. This is something that belongs in trashy magazines like People that exist because doctor’s offices also exist. The AP apparently has no shame or dignity left.
Hannity’s right...the mainstream media finally pulled their own plug in ‘08.
When Obama crashes and burns ala the Hindenburg, I hope that a) he doesn’t take our nation and its economy with him and b) that the burning and toxic wreckage of the Hindenbama lands on the Associated Press, New York Times and MSNBC. They earned it.

To: TornadoAlley3
All I keep thinking is that if this were a Republican with all the issues going on in the world at this moment, there would be nothing but criticism for not tending to ‘the peoples’ business’.
I wish the media would just stop pretending they aren’t biased.
