The American Left attempts a bloodless coup

The American Left attempts a bloodless coup Sandy Rios - Guest Columnist - 4/29/2009 8:45:00

Totalitarian movements have always destroyed their enemies. Peter the Great of Russia murdered members of the Streltsy military corps by taking the ax of the executioner to cut off their heads one by one himself. The Bolsheviks murdered the last Russian Czar—along with his wife and family—by telling them they were going to have their picture made. As they smiled into the camera, they were shot, buried and had acid poured over their remains.

Stalin continued the blood bath of the Russian Revolution by murdering thousands of his own who didn't agree with Marxism. The Nazis had their gas chambers, not just for Jews, but also for dissenters. Fidel Castro turned his popularity into tyranny and brave Cubans gave their lives trying to free their beloved island. The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia tortured and murdered the intelligentsia in the S21, the regular folk in the Killing Fields. The slightest lack of support for Pol Pot and the new regime earned one a place in a mass grave.

There was a dreadful logic in all of this: By killing the opposition, you eliminated any possibility of future resistance, and you eradicated any personality who could possibly remind or rally future generations to any other way of thinking. Power was—at least for a time—absolute in each situation.

But times have changed and so have strategies. Saul Alinsky, radical of the '60s, author of "Rules for Radicals" who was all about taking power, suggested that you target your opposition, make it personal and destroy him. Recent decades have seen this play out in the demonization and ruination of a host of people. They weren't killed, but they were in essence destroyed so that no one in the mainstream culture would ever again listen to or heed their advice. Richard Nixon...Oliver North...Clarence Thomas...Dick Cheney...Tom DeLay...George W. Bush...Sarah Palin.

Have Americans stopped to think that these destroyed people are all on the political right? Have they noticed that Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank still walk among us, exercising influence, with whatever reputations they have in tact?

The Republican Party is by no means perfect, but the democrat party has innocent blood on its hands.

A little long for a bumper sticker, but spot on!

I got the most sickening feeling when i saw how viciously they attacked Miss Prejean, Miss California. This leftist culture will probably need to be addressed in a firm way, very soon. That lovely woman simply spoke her opinion, as politely as ive ever heard.

She is a hero. She made me think of how many times ive sat silently while people at work worship Obama. How many times ive held my tongue when they talk of global warming and how we must address it. We all need to stary doing what she did. Never thought id get that kind of inspiration from a beauty pageant.

I am now completely convinced that Americans have no understanding what-so-ever, regarding the “true” meaning of Liberty & Freedom. What else could explain the election of a marxist and subsequently, acceptance of his appointments of complete traitors to the U.S.A.?

There's an old saying that the fish is the last creature you would expect to find studying water. The bulk of Americans are so complacent in their materialistic bread-and-circus lifestyle, that even if they tried they could not conceive of it being toppled and levelled by a grim, implacable domestic enemy.

A fish could not imagine being without water; most Americans could not imagine being without the freedom of the status quo. So why worry?

“The American Left will eventually overreach, and it will no longer be bloodless.”

It may not be far away once they have 60 votes in the senate. And they will be in a hurry, because they know it won’t last.

At the risk of ‘beating a dead horse’ I’m sure that the 6 million Jews sort of had the same belief.

When someone is handed unbridled power and willing to do absolutely anything to acheive their goals, methods and plans are made to eliminate (I believe the word used during WWII was ‘solution’). There are plenty of willing souls, in our own country, (our prisons are also full of America/American haters) to use to help in the effort.

Have you ever been confronted or come into contact with someone in your everyday life, that would do ‘whatever it took’ to achieve their own goals? Up to and including selling their own mother/grandmother for money....and that’s just when life was ‘normal’. No my friend, (and I am not trying to diminish your point at all, so please don’t take offense)you can bet plans are already in the works to take care of us......and in a brutal fashion.

I once spoke with an NRA representative regarding this matter and he recounted how the Nazis intimidated the Jews and spoke of one incident dealing with ‘disarming them’ first. They took one resister down under a lamplite and blew his brains out in front of everyone; Afterwhich they willingly gave up their firearms. Now I can’t verify/confirm that particular story but I believe that type of tactic will be used and you will be shocked at the numbers that will ‘give up the fight’. We’ve only seen the very tip of what is in store for us.

That actually is a BIG test. I cannot believe that he really is about to prosecute Bush over a policy. This won’t be good.

“They cant arrest 5 million of us.”

No...but they sure as hell can be killed.

And so can the killers,

when the veneer comes off of this abomination of a government that we have or deserve everyone will have to choose whom they are going to support.
It will not be pretty and it will not me bloodless but it will determine what type of a country America will be in the future. Whether it is a bend-over and drop trou like most of Europe or the America that is that shinning city on a hill.

One would only hope that these cowards / traitors in DC meet some form of justice for their crimes against the constitution and the country.

And to those who would spy on FR and do your silly journal entries on who says what......

consume feces, make canine vocalizations at the lunar surface and then expire

or eat sh!t bark at the moon and die

(with all respects to the AdminModerator, who has a heck of a job)

If you cower away from this likelihood, you have lost already and you have let down the Founders of this country and your fellow citizens.

And the Czarist police kept close watch on Lenin, and look how that turned out.

In fact, it becomes a two way line of communication. If those observing understand that the current regime cannot, will not, or shall not protect the people and the interests of the country, then exactly what are the observors truly loyal to? To a dysfunctional regime or the nation? Then they must choose!

Did people think "the Clinton Body Count" was a joke or something?

I'll ask Jerry Parks.

I honestly don't know if he is ready to go that far, but I won't be shocked if he does. The 'rats came close with the execs from AIG and the auto companies, innocent law-abiding citizens crucified and their families terrorized by government-supported political thugs just to intimidate others to follow.

Those despicable incidents may set the tone for dragging former officials into the dock.

In an era of asymmetric warfare, the retaliation for such a State sponsored massacre would be horrific.

"By 2012 they all will be voting."

Which is one of the reasons this recent coup will be anything but bloodless. The "Untied States of America" will turn out to have become a paper tiger, and the new nation that will arise from the wreckage will be pledged to the Declaration of Independence, and the US Constitution as originally written, without all the penumbras and permutations.

You're obviously suggesting that people shut up and go underground with their very thoughts of resistance. That is the sure path to the gulag, my friend.

No. Every patriotic American needs to speak out loud and often about the encroaching tyranny, and their willingness to fight back against it.

There is safety in numbers.

Shrink into silence, and you invite the boots of the storm troopers to kick down your door.

“I agree with you. Ive never been big on protests, at all. But if one comes up that we are going to DC, im going. I dont know what will cause it, but im going to be in. My prediction is that it will be a gun law, a massive tea party, a law dealing with our children and national slave service, or nationalizing health care.

There is a HUGE gathering of our people coming. At the Tea Party was the first time in a long long time that i havent felt like some lone nut.”

There’s a lot of regular people like us who are ready to march to Washington to tell them enough already. I don’t know either which line they’ll cross but they’ll get so overconfident they’ll cross it and then woe betide. To me it should’ve been partial birth abortion which if they’d been born would’ve been murder but our betters have told us that it’s not only lawful but they can make big bucks doing it and that it’s only women who birth babies and throw them in the trash is when it’s really really murder.

Yes, like so many others the teaparties gave us all hope that we’re not alone. It’s the immoral MSM and government who are out of kilter with mainstream USA and they need to be told by we the people.

There is a line that they must not cross. Nobody really knows where it is, but anyone can see they are headed straight towards it at 100 mph.

Totally concur. I've been trying to put that thought into words for weeks, and you just did it.

But, I keep hearing folks on this site saying that we should be governed by the “will of the sheep...er people.” I hope that the success of Obama silences the populists posing as conservatives.

“innocent law-abiding citizens”

2 weeks ago Saturday, I was sitting and working at my computer when my cell phone rang. It was my brother (who is also my best friend). He proceeded to tell me that he was in the County Jail on a warrant issued. Now before I go any further, let me describe my brother: You could refer to him as Mr. Clean Marine type. Pays taxes on time, sweats paying bills on time, owns his own business, drives 40mph when the speed limit is 50mph.........and belongs to the NRA (lifelong member) and is vocally conservative and as American as apple pie.

Now...I asked him what happened, and he said that his vehicle had been rear-ended and when the state patrol came, they started looking through his jeep, ran his tags and proceeded to tell him there was a warrant out for his arrest. They handcuffed him,(hands behind back) took him to jail all the while he’s ‘asking what for’ and they simply told him it’s ‘a failure to appear’ warrant from a different county.
At the jail they treated him like he was some kind of felon, making him remove his shoes, keeping him cuffed to a chair while he called me......and the charge is still very cloudy.

Now this may just be conincidental, but it was a week after DHS released that insidious report regarding ‘domestic threats’.

The point being.........we will be (and are) terrorized and there are methods that we haven’t even begun to see.

Europeans have been conditioned to obey the power for 1500 years. They never had a sense that they are in charge. And stories like that probably happened. What might happen here, if they go that route, is that the other side gets a photo of their parents sitting on the front porch, of their child on the playground.

Death camps arent in Americas future. Fear and violence tactics work both ways. And that is *Precisely* why we have a 2nd amendment.

Imagine the US military unleashed on us. And imagine you get 100% compliance from them. Being generous, they can field 20% of them as shooters. Thats only 8000 per state. Most of our large cities could swallow up 8000 alone. And they wont get anything like 100% compliance if they turned on us. Lets say then that we use them all and withdraw every soldier from everywhere else on earth to use here.
Lets also say that some governors dont lead their national guards away from the Neo-Hitler.

But for the sake of Argument, lets say that the entire US military turned on its own people for some unimaginable reason. There’s still another problem for this would-be American Hitler. The US military is incredibly bad-ass, but only to a point. They need a secure base. They cannot function nearly as well when attacking the very base that is the beginning of the supply and support chain.

What happens when the factories that repair their tanks, make the MREs, make the ammo, build the hellfire missiles, sew uniforms, process their pay, etc all become super easy soft targets?
Who feeds them when they turn against a middle American heartland?

I heard an Air Force man and a friend discuss how F-16s tracked and dealt with Iraqi insurgents, implying that they could do so here. Will those pilots be so resolute when he gets a note on the windshield that people know where his family lives? Or when he gets “car-jacked” getting gas? Of course, his personal security needs can be achieved, as they do in the israeli air force, but this consumes LOTS of people and resources for this domestic enemy.

NO, the death camp days are over. The leftist tool today is public humiliation. Its a genius of our system that our military is poorly structured to work against us, and that in fact, we hold crushing power over them domestically.

They are the pit-bull of the earth, but they become a yorkie when they turn on us. And in the end, this fictional military doesnt exist. The US Military can be trusted to protect us, and they would crush any formation that wanted to murder Americans. Even the Chicoms came within a whisker of this in Tianammen Square. They nearly had some Chinese army come to the relief if the protesters. I truly believe our Army and Marines need not be feared by any American.
