Totalitarian movements have always destroyed their enemies. Peter the Great of Russia murdered members of the Streltsy military corps by taking the ax of the executioner to cut off their heads one by one himself. The Bolsheviks murdered the last Russian Czar—along with his wife and family—by telling them they were going to have their picture made. As they smiled into the camera, they were shot, buried and had acid poured over their remains.

Stalin continued the blood bath of the Russian Revolution by murdering thousands of his own who didn't agree with Marxism. The Nazis had their gas chambers, not just for Jews, but also for dissenters. Fidel Castro turned his popularity into tyranny and brave Cubans gave their lives trying to free their beloved island. The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia tortured and murdered the intelligentsia in the S21, the regular folk in the Killing Fields. The slightest lack of support for Pol Pot and the new regime earned one a place in a mass grave.

There was a dreadful logic in all of this: By killing the opposition, you eliminated any possibility of future resistance, and you eradicated any personality who could possibly remind or rally future generations to any other way of thinking. Power was—at least for a time—absolute in each situation.

But times have changed and so have strategies. Saul Alinsky, radical of the '60s, author of "Rules for Radicals" who was all about taking power, suggested that you target your opposition, make it personal and destroy him. Recent decades have seen this play out in the demonization and ruination of a host of people. They weren't killed, but they were in essence destroyed so that no one in the mainstream culture would ever again listen to or heed their advice. Richard Nixon...Oliver North...Clarence Thomas...Dick Cheney...Tom DeLay...George W. Bush...Sarah Palin.

Have Americans stopped to think that these destroyed people are all on the political right? Have they noticed that Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank still walk among us, exercising influence, with whatever reputations they have in tact?

They are playing with the coup. They truly believe it is the time to usher in a full democrat-socialist benevolent dictatorship. I mean that literally. Obama and his are now openly *dictating* the smallest details of our lives.

There is a line that they must not cross. Nobody really knows where it is, but anyone can see they are headed straight towards it at 100 mph.

I know, I don't know where that line is but I continue tro warn people about it. Those on the left, I keep warning them that if they do not stop their constant pushing, they will cross a line somewhere and we will finish what they started.

I do believe in what Glenn Beck is trying to do with the 9-12 Project and I hope it succeeds, it might be the last peaceful way to stand up to what is going on. Like Glenn, I lament a French style revolution and/or some sort of civil war, but deep down in my gut, I think we are headed that way. It could come down to survival to the point to where we either put their heads up on pikes or they do that to us. The two sides here are diametrically opposed and we have irreconcilable differences.

It's like we are being pushed into a corner, again using my animal examples here, when that happens and there is nothing left to lose and everything to gain, there will be a fight. A cornered tiger, lion or elephant will fight, even a cornered kitten, chicken or even baby chick will fight and even those can be nasty.

You're right, we don't know where the line is but we are flooring it and the gas pedal is right up against the firewall.

Actually Stalin murdered hundreds of thousands who were
devoted communists, ones who had given their lives to support the revolution, precisely because of his drive to power and his overpowering paranoia. The rest,tens of millions more, just because he was building socialism.
Of course the number was so high mostly because whole
families were gathered up to pay for the supposed crimes
of one member.
Make no mistake, Obama is a “Stalinist”.
Our long nightmare is just beginning.

The key will be to see whether the Obama regime goes ahead with Stalinist show trials of former Bush officials. Criminalization of political opponents and policies is a hallmark of the totalitarian state. If they do this then all Americans will need to decide where they stand.

Lotsa luck with that. Who exactly will be doing it? Not our military, the pointy end of the spear warfighters wont kill their families and friends. We are where they came from and the Kenyan knows it. Our military is too small to occupy and pacify the USA even if they all agreed to try. Its simply not designed for that. Whats our total number? 2 million-ish with reserves?

And as i said, we arent quiet docile Europeans or Asians that just get into the railcar. Dare them to try something like killing 5 million free Americans. They could never win such a confrontation so it won’t even happen if we march into washington with the biggest “tea party” theyve ever seen in their worst nightmares.

One thing we really need is the ability to use technology to raise large crowds quickly, without the need for a central leader that can be controlled or corrupted.

Well, that will never happen. Matter of fact I think within three years, 0bama will fix things so that felons vote in prisons. Think not? Is it any crazier than two guys getting married to each other?

What we have to do is keep them away from the polls. Which will never happen either. Criminals, illegal aliens and imbeciles should not be allowed to vote. By 2012 they all will be voting.

I agree with you. Ive never been big on protests, at all. But if one comes up that we are going to DC, im going. I dont know what will cause it, but im going to be in. My prediction is that it will be a gun law, a massive tea party, a law dealing with our children and national slave service, or nationalizing health care.

There is a HUGE gathering of our people coming. At the Tea Party was the first time in a long long time that i havent felt like some lone nut.

Sometimes I hear people say they vote for the person, not the party. Recently I was called to vote for a judge, and I asked what party the man belongs to. I was told the person 'cross-filed,' but I insisted on an answer. When the caller told me the prospective judge is a registered democrat, I said that I won't vote for a democrat.

I know that some Republican politicians have cooperated with democrats, but with democrats in total control, we will have unlimited abortion, welfare, and sooner or later, a terrorist attack in this country.

Most people I know don't really pay attention to the news, and they have no idea what's going on. I even know two couples who go to church every Sunday, voted for Obama, and still admire him. One graduated from the U. of Notre Dame.

The Republican Party is by no means perfect, but the democrat party has innocent blood on its hands.

I find it interesting that I have been quietly talking along these lines for years with my husband - although he’s in agreement now, he was sort of blowing it off for a long time, and telling me I was a little paranoid. I had done a paper on it years ago for a class I was taking - the T/A tried to fail me but my professor gave me an A. One of my neighbors at the time also agreed with this viewpoint. Anyway, I am in a way relieved that many people are now coming out and talking about it in public - that gives me much hope that maybe we can stop this. I had thought it would be Hillary in charge - she and Bill clearly want to be Presidents for life and that was obvious when Gore lost the election to Bush. I pray we can gain more momentum and throw these creeps the heck out........
