And before he ever moved to Arizona, Simcox who calls himself a life-long Republican was registered in California as an American Independent from 1996 until 2000, according to the Los Angeles County Recorders Office.Woah. I think we might have a more genuine conservative in Simcox than in McCain.

Don’t like McCain but Simcox shouldn’t be going around saying he is a ‘lifelong’ Republican when he is not. Tell the truth about how he went to another party instead of others finding out the truth.
Strike One against him right there. Doesn’t AZ have anyone that can run against McCain that is from AZ, is a longtime member of the GOP, and conservative?

Well then - that would make Simcox a “maverick”.
To: rabscuttle385
Don’t look now, but being a “Republican” isn’t what it was 25 years ago. Maybe McCain is more “Republican” than Simcox.

I haven’t voted for McCrazy in his last 2 senatorial elections, I’ve left it blank.
I voted for him in the presidential election because of my real, and now confirmed, fear of the BO Marxist.
I won’t vote for McCrazy. Might have trouble voting for Simcox, he’s a felon and under a cloud for embezzlement from the Minutemen. It’s easy to become a felon these days, so need to know what he’s convicted of. Not sure we’ll learn about the embezzlement thing, suspect they’d write it off to avoid the distraction from their important message. Waiting to see more of the truth of those issues.
Looking hard at Jim Deakin for the senate seat. He’s on the correct side of the issues and is a businessman, so knows what it’s like out here in the trenches. http://www.jimdeakin.com/ Have met and talked with him three times (at gun shows and the Tucson tea party). He, his wife, and daughter are genuine and absolutely apalled at what BO is doing.
J.D. Hayworth is also a possibility if he runs.
All I know is that if whoever it is voted for the stimulus or bailouts, I won’t vote for them. Period, end of story.

When describing the McCainiacs, it would be most accurate to state that they are not always off team.
Simcox draws fire, because he wanted border control, an incredible sin according to anyone who could possibly support McCain.
Simcox should draw strength from this. Having the McCain camp endorse you, would be the kiss of death.

What a silly little article. Simcox was registered as an Independent and that is cause for alarm? Ronald Regan was once a registered Democrat and look how his career turned out.
I too smell fear. McCain is beginning to sweat.

The real question is will McCain campaign harder, get more personal, and be less respectful of his opponent this time against a fellow republican than he did and was against the guy against whom he took a dive in 2008?
I’m guessing he will. And the contrast will only fuel my suspicion that he was supposed to tank in November.
What do the democrats really have on McCain? Do they know something about Hanoi, courtesy of their fellow democrats in Vietnam, that we don’t?
