Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is expected to play a role in the National Council for a New America, a new effort led by House and Senate Republican leaders designed to find ways to make the party more appealing to independent voters.
"I understand that Governor Palin is hopefully going to be involved as well," said Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) during a conference call this morning announcing the group's formation.
Meg Stapleton, a spokeswoman for the Alaska governor, did not immediately return an email seeking to confirm Palin's involvement. If she does respond, we'll update the post.

They’d better not “use” her, like they did during the campaign.
Not to worry, though. Sarah will stand up and fight for what is right! I am hopeful (but wouldn’t hold my breath) that the GOP elite will get their heads screwed on straight and realize that SARAH is the future of the GOP, not them!

Well, since they did everything possible to shoot her legs out from under her, I guess she should be grateful they didn’t succeed and go running to them...NOT!
She is the real future of the GOP, not these two liberal losers.

McQueeg wants Sarah there to lend credibility for whatever brain-dead suggestions he forces on the group.
If I were Sarah, I’d go, but I’d have my megaphone ready to shout down that old bastard at every turn.

What say you, Al? Looks like the old boys network looking to dilute her influence.

Don’t make yourself more “appealing” to people who don’t know what they think by downplaying what you believe. You do it by persuading people, and you can’t persuade people if your ideas don’t really matter even to you.
People are only persuaded if you are passionate about what you believe and you can explain it forcefully and logically and clearly. Going Democrat-Lite or Democrat-Slightly-Less-Crazy is the road to destruction. It is the road to Whigsville.
And stay away from McCain. If he’s promoting it call your broker and sell every share.

So, the story is that McCain’s not sure Sarah is going to be a part of this. Is that really a story?

Yeah, Sarah is dying to hang out with these “party faithful”, after how she was treated after the campaign.

Yeah, all McCain is saying that he is hopeful she attends. So basically he knows nothing LOL. Sarah, stay away from these fools, notice they did not invite Mark Sanford.

These so called Ind's are all liberal airheads who have been brainwashed by the college and school system for years. They will never vote GOP, never!! It's a lost cause. When Reagan and W ran, America was still a pretty decent land. Now, ...so sad. I always thought the RATS were the ones imploding, never dreamed the conservatives would cave so darn quickly. Thanks a mill.. McPAIN and Arlen PUKE!.
