"H1N1 virus" is offensive to all the H1N1's and all the viruses out there.

Plus it's too hard to remember.

Since virtually every case has originated in Mexico, how about "Mexico flu?"

That's racist!! No matter what the truth is....it's not politically correct to ask the mind-numbed sheeple of the world to ponder the truth!! /sarc /sarc

In all reality, the 0 admin and the Dims needed a diversion to make all the sheeple feel warm and fuzzy inside and that the Dim goobermints really care.

IOW, look this way while we fly AF2 thru NYC and print mo' money cuz weeze needs its.

One would think with a $600 million election stash ($250 million of that mysteriously allowed to come in from undocumented overseas sources) that the 0 staff would have had at least hired / talked to enough crooks to fill the administration within 100 days.

Speaks a lot of success, don't it?

Apparently, the CDC hasn't received the memo.

The headline’s more than a little ironic, inasmuch as the congress of the United States, as well as our president, has chosen to glut itself - and then some - on pork. So much so that American kids not yet born will be paying the cost of it for many, many generations to come.

Exactly! And what about the trans-H1N1's, and cross dressing H1N1 viruses out there? Don't they deserve a little bit of respect from this benighted administation?

Legal protections, anyone?

"Any actions... not based on sound science and not based on our rules-based systems of governing could do extraordinary damage, not just to our economy but to those of other countries, as well."

Like global warming garbage?

Link to Swine Flu Information at CDC:

http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu/key_facts.htm

“Can people catch swine flu from eating pork?”

“No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.”

Much more about the Swine flu at the link.
