It is worth noting that the meat packing industry in America - which apparently is now lobbying furiously to change the English language concerning swine flu to something more Orwellian and less disfavorable to its pork products - was also solidly behind the 2007 “immigration reform” effort in Congress which we thankfully quashed.

The meat packing industry in America is a prime employer of illegal aliens, and in towns where they are the prominent employer, the cultures have turned from American to Mexican (even in in heartland states such as Iowa).

And though it is not even close to being the only example, here’s one citation from America’s largest meat packing association/lobbyist the National Meat Association which clearly demonstrates its wish to place its own economic interests above other Americans and the country as a whole.

I found many other similar examples in June 2007, the entire food service and food production industry employs illegal aliens and supports amnesty for them.

“The United States needs legislation that will provide for unskilled workers to come legally to this
country. At the working level of America, and in the meat harvesting and processing facilities, reform
of the process by which immigrants lawfully gain working status is long overdue.”
