BOY HOWDY! DOES FOX HAVE THE BEDWETTERS UPSET!!
NEALZ NUZE ^ | April 28, 2009 | NEAL BOORTZ

Posted on 04/28/2009 1:12:50 PM PDT by Turret Gunner A20

Fox News .. being the evil right-wing network that it is ... has actually turned down yet another PrezBO does Prime Time press conference. The administration requested that networks air his 100 day address to the nation during primetime on Wednesday, and Fox News turned it down.

Man does this have the liberal thongs in a wad! That means, of course, that I love it.

We don't need another tradition here. The media is already compelled to carry a state of the union address every year .. and valuable broadcast time is surrendered to the governing authorities several times a year to make room for their propaganda. That, mis amigos, is zactly what this Obama speech will be - propaganda. In years past it has been the province of the media to grade the president on the first 100 days. Obama has already tried to turn this around by having his spokesperson grade the press. Ha ha. Laughed my codpiece off. Now Obama wants to grab the news cycle by doing his own 100-day critique, and Fox News is the only outlet (thus far) to say no. Good show.

Fox News didn't turn it down; FNC will be airing the speech.

The OTA Fox Network will be counter programming, which makes sense for them to do since they get the lowest ratings during these simulcasts - even lower than FNC's ratings.

Their regularly schedulef show during that time is ‘Lie to me’. Gotta love the irony!

Doesn’t FOX News realize that there is NO television anymore? No choosing...

There is now only OBAMAVISION.

The news channels are now wall to wall Obama, 24/7

Obamavision!

I can guarantee that I’ll be watching whatever network does NOT carry the speech.

Good for Fox (Fox Network, not Fox News Channel, Mr. Boortz) - potential coup for “Lie to Me”. Since maybe half of American adults vote, how many watch primetime news conferences?

BHO is going to wear thin soon among Joe and Jane Apolitical.

Obama has so many TV time requirements that even some of the alphabets are grumbling.

I’ll say it again.

Listen people.

There is no FOX News anymore. There is no television anymore.

There is now only 24/7 coverage of Obama. Obama wants everyone to drop everything they are doing and listen to him.

There is NO television. There is now only OBAMAVISION.

*sarcasm*

Solar flares are going to wipe out all the comsats, anyway.

Hello, PBS, over the air. Don’t like it? Well, um, turn off the TV?

Wow.

Good or bad, I'd like to be informed.

Way to drop the ball, Fox.

don’t forget obama did his OWN personal faux state of the union speech after he was elected rather than an oval office speech.

(plus zipping around the US in air force one, now air farce one)

The only think obama’s media appearances need are laugh tracks and phart noises.

I recall NBC and CBS both turned down President Bush several times when he wanted prime time press conferences.

And I'm seeing repeats!

I’m surprised they aren’t screeching about it not being on ESPN, ESPN2, FSN, FSN+, The golf channel and home shopping network.

Ah, yes. Remember the “Office of the President-Elect”, complete with its own SEAL?

Can we get some adults into the game?

It wasn’t Fox News Channel, it was the Fox network.

Obama is asking for and getting a prime time address every month. No recent president has been as aggressive in seeking network time. The nets turned down Bush administration requests all the time.
