I’m really glad to get rid of him.
I’m at the point now where I think the ONLY hope for the true conservatives is to come out loud, strong, and straight conservative socially, fiscally, and in every other way.
With all the RINOs around, I can no longer call myself a Republican.
Look how well Sarah Palin did, appealing to true conservatives. She scared the left so badly that they are STILL going after her. Just think what a true, fiery conservative could do in an election! A team of them would scare the pants off Soros and the rest of the fascists.

Oh noes! He will keep voting with D for the same fraction of the time, but the little flag by his name will switch. The fabricated notion that the Democrats do not have a sufficient majority to ram legislation through will finally be fully exposed.
McCain can go next, just like he wanted to just a few years ago. Graham, Collins, Snowe, and Arnold too.
That was the price he paid for Bush's support in his last election.

I like Palin, but I think you are wrong...she lost McCain votes in the suburbs. She did bring out the base which unfortunately shows we need more than the base to win elections as we lost badly in 2008...keep this in mind while throwing out all the RINO’s.... committees are decided by the number of GOP and Dem...we will lose important committee memberships.
The dems have been advancing their socialist agenda with the help of republicans and the “moderates” who endorse them in the name of “victory”.
You all act like a ring-wing congress got tossed out on their asses in 2006 and a right-wing nominee got trounced in 2008.
What we have now are the fruit of the great “moderate” strategy. If you can’t articulate what conservatism is and why it works to voters, the country’s over.
Specter should be forced to give every dime he has gotten from the GOP for the last 2 election cycles!

I remember when I had ‘chemo brain’ right after my treatments. It seemed like it took forever for it to go away! So I completely understand what you are saying.
I think his brain was fried before chemo though. He is such an arrogant jerk!

But that's okay. Now the Dems have NO political cover whatsoever. When their agenda fails, they have NO ONE to blaim but themselves. No one.
This is a golden opportunity to stick it to the Dems at every chance. Conservatives only needsd to show some backbone, some discipline, and consistently vote as a bloc against the liberal agenda, and they'll retake the House in 2010.
Can Snowe and Collins be far behind?
