Nigbur said the trooper tried to use his Taser but it didn't fire, so he threw it aside. But authorities say Parker picked it up and fired a shock called a "dry stun" into the officer.

What ever happened to pepper spray?
Any weapon can misfire; guns, tasers, bows & arrows, knives can break...
But for this woman to do what she did was dumb. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Pepper spray is far less effective than a Taser. I’ve seen someone be pepper sprayed and continue to fight. The person who was sprayed also has to be decontaminated before booking.
I would rather be hit with a Taser than take pepper spray.
A “drive stun” (not dry stun) with a Taser causes pain, but doesn’t have the debilitating effect of a regular stun.
I feel very sorry for this woman. The cop was trying to rape her, and she had the guts to fight him off, and would have if she weren’t outnumbered.
How do I know the cop was trying to rape her? I don’t, anymore than you know what was really going on; but, in this country, the law grants the benefit of the doubt to the accused until evidence shows otherwise ...
... and the wise never give the cops the benefit of the doubt, until evidence shows otherwise.
Any cop that gets tasered with his own taser deserves that, and much more.

She is my type of hero even if she may have been wrong. I still like her.
Several years ago, I bit and continued to bite some punk who tried to go off with my purse.
I didn’t realize how much damage I had done until a couple of blocks away I was tasting blood. Yeck!!! It was worth it though. No AIDs detected after a lab tests.

In the process, she should have poked his eyes out then bit him several more times.
Sounds like an epic brawl. Even a Canine Unit arrived at the fray, although unfortuantely it’s not clear whether the dog was allowed to participate. Perhaps he or she could have returned the bite.
I wish these reporters would work a little harder to report the facts.

pepper spray is more dangerous than stun guns. It can trigger a full on asthma attack in some asthmatics.

Ladies, do not be afraid to use your teeth.
I have read the dirties bite is the human bite for infections.
Many years before that, I saw a humane bite. It is very ugly and dangerous.
