The Fox network is sticking with its regular schedule over President Barack Obama this week. The network is turning down the president's request to show his prime-time news conference on Wednesday. The news conference marks Obama's 100th day in office. Instead of the president, Fox viewers will see an episode of the Tim Roth drama "Lie to Me." It's the first time a broadcast network has refused Obama's request. This will be the third prime-time news conference in Obama's presidency. ABC, CBS and NBC are airing it.

Ron!
Haven’t seen you since last year, man! Howyadoin?
DARN....I was hoping that would be the American Idol time slot....he would be soooooo uncool to go up against Idol...
Joe,
This is going to be a “0bammy Dearest” 4 years long.
Start your hangars. (hangers?) (Little metal things that hang up clothes and are used to beat theater seats during a certain movie. I never did that, but I saw pictures. I am more of a “Rocky Horror” type myself.)
As I recall the networks didn’t drop everything and televise Bush’s press conferences.
I never watch that show, but I will watch it as the lead in to American Idol.....Thanks, FOX!
.
Doing well, thank you, for...

.
He learned well from Hitler, Castro and Chavez
Watch for my prediction....as Obama’s poll ratings fall he will go on television more often and for longer periods of time.
I can even see him forcing the networks to carry his speeches using some sort of faked national emergency issue to do it....
He’s a petty, narcissistic, communist dictator and playing the part perfectly.
Obama has received more press than Bush and Clinton combined, and only been in office 100 days. Forgot the source, probably Drudge.
that’s pathological narcissism for ya!
Actually I like the show. I like Tim Roth anyway. And it’s not blatantly PC either (skewers both sides pretty fairly when it does get political, which is rare.
Oh yeah and there is a babe as well.
Finally a Network that’s growing a pair.
To those of us in the Central time zone, he would pre-empt Idol. A lot of people would be very unhappy, me included. AI is my guilty pleasure.
I forgot to add, “Thanks Fox network for standing up to Obully!”
Will be watching Lie to Me. Have had entirely enough of the pompous DEAR LEADER.
I am watching the Fox Channel which I very seldom watch but it will be worth it to stick it to the other networks. Actually I don’t have a clue what is on their regular lineup.
It will be interesting to listen the the alphabet channels on Thursday morning. I suspect they will be mentioning the evil Fox News for having the audacity to not air the worthy one....and it will be with great disdain, the new F-word.
lol
Anyone left, capable of critical thought would get a laugh out of that. The BS coming thought your television connection is total BS.
Of course, I would imagine, some live off that diet.
Missing his “news” conference will be no big deal. You know the dumbstream press will be trumpeting his wonderfulness for many days to come. It will be almost impossible to get away from the drooling.
Let me know if you hear anything on that...
