Air Force One Photo Opp Triggers Panic in Manhattan

A photo shoot involving a 747 used as Air Force One and two fighter jets flying at low altitude led to hundreds of frightened calls from residents and workers in Lower Manhattan this morning, triggering memories of 9-11 as many evacuated their offices...

According to officials, the flight -- authorized by the FAA -- came in as low as 1000 feet to 150 feet above the city as it made a large circle over Manhattan, Staten Island, and New Jersey...

Other officials noted that they were led to believe the flight would be limited to the area near the Statue of Liberty, however the flight pattern was above a much larger portion of New York and at an extremely low altitude.

The police were told not to say anything - completely stupid advice. A large, commercial-type aircraft, after 9-11 and so close to the Hudson ditching - triply stupid.

Photo ops like this are done all of the time with the backdrop of famous landmarks. Go to USAF.mil and click and search for photos. There is a really cool one of the Thunderbirds over the Statue of Liberty.

It's difficult to describe - maybe even to imagine - the contempt that 0Bambi and his minions must have for the people of this country.

This was done for a nice film clip to use in the 100 day celebration. The MSM will spin it that the plane was not Air Force One and Zero didn’t know..some Air Force Col will retire early.
