This could become a problem.
Stuff seems to be spreading like wildfire.
Could be hyped by the news media, but if it’s as serious and contagious as indicated, we could be in for a “spanish influenza” sort of pandemic.
That means lots of deaths.
The 1918 flu was first observed in Kansas.
Where in Kansas?
Military installations (Riley and Leavenworth)?
Meat-packing plants in Dodge City?
NBC just broadcast a special report. It has spread to eight students in NYC.
Thank your local ‘quickie mart’ illegals for this one.
As far as I’ve read, no one who has contracted this flu and is living in the US has died.
Only those in Mexico have died, so what are we doing that they’re not doing in Mexico...Tamiflu? Respiratory support while the flu runs it’s course?
Hasn’t there been an outbreak of it at a college in NY as well?
Stocking up on a few extras to have on hand. Thanks for the heads up.
Yeah, it probably will spread though out the US and then off to other parts of the world. Hopefully it is not very contagious and have low fatality rate.
Private school kids who recently returned from a trip to Mexico.
It’s a high school.

That book is in my top five favorites. The movie wasn’t half bad either.
Air travel will make this impossible to contain.
Aw crap. I read that headline on a twitter link on a goldbug site where they still have heated debates about whether the moon landing was faked, and decided it was too crazy to believe.
I’m starting to think about that animation sequence from “Congo” (?) where Dustin Hoffman shows that map of the United States, where red dots get bigger and bigger so quickly that they cover the entire country in like a week.
Gary Sinise was fantastic. Most of the casting was good, but Molly Ringwald?
It is odd (to me) that this flu is a combination of three flu types. Wondering if this could be some kind of laboratory- created flu?
Gulp.
