What is it about socialists, that makes them despise religion? It seems that whenever a Socialists wins an election that gives them the ultimate power in a country, the first thing they try to do is remove religion as a force in that society. Oh it's not done in a way that the people realize it is happening. No, it's more covert and insidious in the way it is brought about. Usually it's done right under the noses of the very people who claim their ruler would never do such a thing. In America, religious persecution by the government has been brewing for a few generations.



The shot over the bow of religion was fired by Hugo Black, a former Ku Klux Klan member appointed to the Supreme Court by FDR. In 1947 when Hugo Black wrote the majority opinion for Everson vs. Board of Education., he reinterpreted the meaning of the First Amendment of the Constitution by taking completely out of context a phrase used by President Thomas Jefferson in a letter he wrote to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802. By using the phrase “separation of church and state,” in his opinion, Justice Black limited the religious liberty of all Americans. Now after 62 years of constant government attack, Obama and Congress are about to take their godless agenda forward by disallowing college students the right to worship as they please.

It is obnoxious, it is complicit and it is filled with self-appointed intellectuals who consider themselves beyond any form of courtesy or respect for other humans. It will just help enforce his program. ACORN and its DoJ support should guarantee elections for him and, for a while, the Democrats, then later the Left Democrats &c. If he gets Amnesty (looking less certain) ACORN will not even be necessary.

All the more reason for every man, woman and voting 18 year old to vote republican, come 2010.

I know most of the women here FR, vote, but a lot of others don't. Pass the word to your lady friends....we ALL have to vote (republican) in 2010 to put some control over Obama in the house and senate come 2010, in order to put a stop to his crap.

When I read blogs like this, I look at the horrible grammar and have to wonder how likely it is that someone who cannot tell the difference between “who’s” and “whose” and who writes “the Republicans did not even attempted to stop” is able to understand things more complicated than simple matters of grammar.

I would have to agree that these Rhinos have sold us down the drain more times then I care to remember. I still fume every time I think of the judges Bush was unable to appoint because they stood in the way.

And they wonder why they lost control back to the Democrats. Hell, if our representatives want to act like Democrats we might as well have the real thing so people will know who to blame.

Liberals will swoon and chart their 'wins' or takings as they march onward to that vision of a 'new' world. The high minded center, moderate, got to check to see what is acceptable to win elections, will do whatever it takes to keep what they have. And for NOW the so called 'right' will point fingers at those hay-seed hick, supposed one issue, morals voters for causing this mess. Oh, Bama already has his army, they are just waiting for the prompter to get programmed for marching orders... Who are Bama's programmers?
