SEEKONK, Mass. -- Shane Murphy, the second-in-command aboard the American merchant ship seized by pirates, lashed out at Rush Limbaugh for the talk show host's racial characterization in discussing the rescue of the ship's captain by the Navy.
In commenting on the rescue of Capt. Richard Phillips by the Navy Seals who shot and killed the three Somali pirates who were holding him captive, Limbaugh generated controversy when he called the pirates "black teenagers."
"There you have it, three teenagers shot on the high seas at the order of President Obama," said Limbaugh according to a transcript of an April 14 broadcast on his Web site.
"Just imagine the hue and cry had a Republican president ordered the shooting of black teenagers on the high seas," Limbaugh said.
Murphy said Limbaugh's remarks were unacceptable.
"It feels great to be home," Murphy said. "With the exception of Rush Limbaugh who is trying to make this into a race issue. It's disgusting."
"The president did the right thing. It's a war. It's about good versus evil. And what you (Limbaugh) said is evil, that is hate speech. I won't tolerate it," Murphy said.

Somehow I think that 0bama administration people are briefing people thrust into the spotlight to praise the Chosen One while offering gratuitous jabs at conservatives. All part of the plan to demonize all opposition.
Don’t jump this guy’s sh*t at least right now. He’s operating on major stress and bad information from our wonderful media.

The President did not do the right thing. The President tried to "settle it peacefully" with a FBI Hostage negotiation team. Obama did not authorize the Seal Team to take action.
Eventually the On Site commander took a risk, operating under existing law, declared the hostage's life in imminent danger, and authorized the Seal team to shoot.
I have seen reports from people tightly linked to the Seal community that expose the lie that Obama acted to save Captain Phillip's life - that action was taken by the OSC (On Site Commander), The Captain of the Bainbridge.
Mr. Murphy, what ever his intentions, was sitting on the _MV Alabama in Mombasa, Kenya, hundreds of miles away, when the action happened.
What do we expect from someone so stupid that he knew there were pirates in that area, he knew it was dangerous and he had no weapons. IDIOT! Too bad they didn’t take his sorry ass to shore and hold him for a few days.
Bingo! I think you're right. I thought it sounded as if this guy, Murphy, misunderstood what Limbaugh was saying. The MSM sets people up, and that's what it sounds like happened here.

Next: Sir with all due respect to the ordeal you have just endured, can you not tell the sarcasm that Rush used was directed at the people who would be criticizing Republicans for being warmongering Klansmen in doing the same thing only sooner?
If Bush would have done that it would have been called a false flag operation to get us involved in Somalia to protect oil shipping routes. You and your family would be branded liars, and your lives torn apart by the Olbermann’s of the left looking for any link to Bush to “prove” the “conspiracy”
The only thing Rush hates is the assault being waged on liberty by hypocritical leftists. Those same people whom you credit in saving your Captain probably weighed your Captains life vs. the lives of your captors and how the various scenarios would play out in the media, and the “international community” before they made a decision.

Secondly: the first amendment covers what Limbaugh said.
Thirdly: interesting that when hostile foreigners threat libs directly it’s okay to call in the troops.

Folks, I'm telling you. They don't get to define the debate or choose the field any longer with me. Ya'll can do whatever you feel, but this class of creature is the direct opposite of the Americans I grew up with, from every part of the country, who had a damn sense of humor.
