WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama paid tribute Thursday to the memory of Jews murdered in the Holocaust and said it is the duty of the living all over the world to make certain there will be no more atrocities.
Speaking at a Holocaust Days of Remembrance ceremony at the U.S. Capitol, Obama warned against what he called the dangers of silence. Every day, he said, people should fight the impulse to turn away when scenes of horror unfold across the world. He called for people to embrace a "habit of empathy."
"We know," the president said, "that evil has to run its course on earth."

Yes, we are aware of this. We are more aware of this now than ever before. Especially here in the U.S.

I know , this from a man who hates whites, has said comments like typical white people and greedy white folk

this from an administration what said contracts will go to blacks.
This from a man who agrees that the new haven city of CT was right to not let those firemen not have that promotion because blacks did not pass the test
this from a man who sat ina anti white anti christian anti American church for 20 YEARS
Course the loony left cannot see that racism goes both ways and in my experience I have seen much more racism from blacks to whites including myself and family.
I have seen muslims show bigotry towards Jews and Christian and Americans
seen bigotry mostly from homosexuals towards straight couples
Kind of like the Obama admin ignoring the horror presented by a nation (Iran) run by nutballs on the verge of manufacturing nuclear weapons who believe that killing "infidels" (Americans/Israelis) will hasten the return of their "12th Imam".
Except for Jews in Israel!
The reason millions of jews were massacred in the Holocaust was that so-called leaders equivocated and compromised in the face of evil, refusing to believe that such horrors were within the human capacity. In other words by doing exactly what the Obamateur Democrats are doing right now.
