Another ethics complaint is to be filed today against Alaska Governor Sarah Palin alleging wrongdoing.

An ethics complaint against Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be filed this afternoon asserting that Palin’s involvement with SarahPAC constitutes "outside employment" and "misuse of official position."
Anchorage resident Sondra Tompkins, child disability advocate and mother of a special needs child, is filing the complaint after observing Governor Palin repeatedly display "a pattern of unethical behavior." Sondra believes that the tipping point for her was Sarah Palin's most recent abdication of her role as Governor and apparent conflict-of-interest when she spoke at two outside events in Indiana rather than work with the Alaska Legislature during the most critical time, the end of the session.
The complaint alleges:
a) Governor Palin has entered into a contract outside of her official duties with the donors, employees, partners and any or all other participants involved in Sarah PAC.
b) The recent partisan trip to Indiana by the Governor was purely to benefit personal interests, had no benefit for the State of Alaska and was in direct conflict with her official duties.
c) The Governor left the State to participate in these events during the most critical end-of-session Legislative activities, at a time where the legislators themselves are not permitted to leave.
As long as she didn’t charge the state didn’t for her trip, no harm, no foul.
Our lily white Governor Richardson (/sar) spent lots of time out of state during his recent abortive presidential run and refused to reveal a lot of information about the trips, who paid for them, purpose, how he travele (he bought a new state jet plane a few years earlier), etc. Essentially a middle finger extended to whoever asked. Press never successfully followed up on it though they tried occasionally.
The best way to break their lawsuit knife is by supporting Sarah's legal fund which was announced for next week.
I think she took some work home, and upon inspecting it when she brought it back, there was a paper clip MISSING.
Keep pushing democrats, keep pushing. When the the rage that is seething under the surface can no longer be held in check you’ll have only yourselves to blame.
I look forward to the filing of dozens of abuse-of-process lawsuits and anything similar. And if public funds are used to defend the lawsuits, then go after the providers of those funds.
I completely agree. Nobody wants an anti-corruption pol in DC. She threatens both parties.

It’s a very transparent part of the left’s attempt to simply wear her down — financially and politically. They have a chokehold on power in this country and will do anything and everything to maintain it.
This continues to be a successful tactic of the Left. Look what they did to Ted Stevens. They wanted him out of there so bad they didn’t care if the entire case would be thrown out “later” as long as they caused enough damage to get the senate seat; he had too much power and they wanted to destroy him. They are doing the same thing to Sarah. It will likely work because I hear from my fellow Alaskans all the time the latest headline against Sarah and they don’t bother to find out the facts. Our newspapers & media in Alaska are just as slanted to the Left as anywhere else and that’s the “information” that is being fed to people who are too lazy to find out the truth.

Yes, it most certainly is! I am so SICK and tired of the liberals doing these smear campaigns against Gov. Palin. The way they are going after her is so vile and so despicable!
I think it’s time to give a donation to SarahPac..... I would encourage everyone to do the same!
We have to go after people like Sondra Tompkins. Destroy their credibility.
I don’t care if we have to use mafia tactics. We need to ruin these people in the eyes of the public. and scare them away from doing this.
We need a “loser pays” system. there has to be some consequence to frivolous suits.
Besides ethics laws violate “equal protection under the law” since only the ethical can be charged.

We need to start filing ethics complaints against Democrat Governors for the same trivial baloney!

At this point I'm not sure they can recover.
As long as they continue to back loons like Specter and McCain and are run by losers like Michael Steele and Martinez, we can clearly say THEY DON'T GET IT.
As for Palin, I'll back her with my prayers, my money, my help and my vote. She deserves better. The treatment she is getting from those RATs in the RNC reminds of the kind of help Joan of Arc got from that ungrateful French King when she was captured by the Burgundians.
But if the masses of conservative Republicans and traditional Americans still have any testicles left, we won't let the Judases, Quislings and Benedict Arnolds in the mainstream media burn HER at the stake.
