Now here is something you definitely don't see at left-wing protests:
(captured at the Raleigh, NC Tea Party tax protest on the Capitol Grounds)
And I thought it was going to be a picture of clean, UNtrashed grounds AFTER the event.
I agree, that is the way a protest should be started.
On the down side, how many people raked obama over the coals for not putting his hand over his heart?

Cheers to Freedom!
Nice! I didn’t even think of capturing that. That would have been a good idea (though it was quite dark by the time it was over).
(snif) Thanks!
Oh, they’ll play it or have it performed. But you won’t see folks stand still, hand over heart and sing with it.
First ‘cause they don’t know the words. Second ‘cause that’s just not how they roll.
I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth -- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that "except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it." - Ben Franklin at the Constitutional Convention
My Dad would’ve kicked my a$$ if I had even thought of moving during the Anthem or the Pledge.

We also cleaned up our area and problably left it cleaner than we found it!
I love the sign at the end.
Isn’t is amazing something like this brings such a surge of emotion (at least to me)when after all it is only a few people honoring their country. How things have changed.
I have a very extensive library of recorded music which includes the entire XM Satellite radio program “IT”. “IT” was advertised as the playing of every charted song from Jan. 1st 1940 through. Dec. 31,1999.
As I listen to the panorama of the music chronologically unfold (hrough about 1964) I am struck and sometimes brought to tears by the references to God both in the music and in the replayed commentary from the day as heard in the newscasts. By hearing these today I realize even more fully just what we have lost and although I am greatly saddened by this I am even more saddened by the fact today’s children will grow up never having experienced what I did. Worse, given the revisionist history teaching public schools, they will probably not even be aware of it even happened.
Our protests are because we love our country and want to preserve freedom. Their protests (the left) are for exactly the opposite reason.
It’s also worth noting the things that almost certainly were not seen ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY:
- smashed windows, vandalism to cars, etc.
- protesters making a big show of filming counter-protesters
- trash all over the place
- a protester wearing a handkerchief over his face
- cops needing to protect counter-protesters
- an arrest of a protester
- somebody trying to drive his car into a group of counter-protesters
- instant, violent suppression of any signs and speech coming from counter-protesters
- uncountable numbers of mass-produced signs
- a laundry list of side issues, foreign flags, etc.
- upside-down American flags, burning flags, etc.
Here Here! Ours as well. As a matter of fact, unless it was strictly a protest lining the streets without a permit, I will bet my bottom dollar that all of them opened with the pledge and /or the national anthem. Would be an interesting poll question...........

FBI taping tea parties is very patriotic too.
When I read the title (even though it wasn’t “past tense”) I thought of the pictures of the trashed out capitol grounds after all the cockroaches had left after the innauguation/coronation/usurpment/highjacking.
See the short video. Conservative talk radio host Kirby Wilber is the speaker.
