DHS Secy Napolitano's not backing down on what she insists was an accurate "assessment" of a "right-wing" terrorist threat---particularly slanderous of brave Americans who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan-- saying only "to the extent veterans read it as an accusation, an apology is owed." Not good enough. The report was a bizarrely paranoid rant. Which is why her agency's own civil-rights division raised red flags over some of the language-- Napolitano released it anyway and defends her agency's paranoid warning that right-wing crazies are poised to launch a coup d'etat----she points to a similar DHS report on left-wingers. But that report warns only about the potential for cyber attacks -- a far cry from the so-called "violent" threat posed by the right. President Obama needs to disavow this nonsense -- and either set his DHS secretary straight or send her back to Arizona

He has made an accurate assessment.
That is beside the point isn’t it?
Your hypothetical Ashcroft/Ridge report would at least have the virtue of plausibility.
I gotta try to remember that.....LOL.
Only if you’re being dishonest.
How am I being dishonest. Please do tell me.
That’s funny...wonder what happened to him?
No thanks - Washington can keep her! Especially her buddies, Hillary, Rahm, and Barney.
For the uninitiated, Janet came to Arizona to be our US Attorney, then Attorney General, then Governor. It was Rahm Emmanuel who set her up as the US Attorney for Arizona.
Don’t strain yourself trying to answer.
I figured Amanpour for a beard.
Speaking of which, where's Michael Steele?
Actually I was busy but thanks for your patience.
It was over an hour since you accused me of being dishonest. But I have been impatient to watch you make a further fool of yourself.
“But I have been impatient to watch you make a further fool of yourself.”
You’ve done that well enough to yourself.
The original driver that caused him to make the decision to attack Americans was Waco. His decision was against the government but he targeted the innocent. He had help from muslims and I think our govt knows this. The muslims probably selected the target.
That has nothing whatsoever to do with my post. Try again, genius.
I take that back. It does have to do with my post. My point being (for the incredibly dense) that McVeigh’s motives had nothing to do with the motives assigned to “right-wing” extremists outlined in the DHS assessment. Your post proves that point. I was right and in no way dishonest.
Didn’t the Clintoons hoist her upon us?
Don’t impugn Stephen Feinberg. He is a staunch conservative who broke all the rules about private equity.
The attacks on IAP are liberal. IAP is a subcontractor. Liberals want gov’t employees for those jobs, not private sector employees as IAP uses.
Bush outsourced to IAP as a conservative move.
Feinberg and Madoff have nothing in common other than both have done business with Merkin, who may be dirty.
Chrysler is in great shape and would be making money had the industry volume not collapsed in 2008. The company was cut down very well and they were making great moves.
Cerberus has turned many companies around. Feinberg regrets choosing the name Cerberus due to its negative connotation, but makes no bones about making money honestly.
You’re not a pleasant person to talk with.
Mcveighs anti-govt motivations are why he did what he did. That is where you were dishonest.
