Don’t impugn Stephen Feinberg. He is a staunch conservative who broke all the rules about private equity.
The attacks on IAP are liberal. IAP is a subcontractor. Liberals want gov’t employees for those jobs, not private sector employees as IAP uses.
Bush outsourced to IAP as a conservative move.
Feinberg and Madoff have nothing in common other than both have done business with Merkin, who may be dirty.
Chrysler is in great shape and would be making money had the industry volume not collapsed in 2008. The company was cut down very well and they were making great moves.
Cerberus has turned many companies around. Feinberg regrets choosing the name Cerberus due to its negative connotation, but makes no bones about making money honestly.
ROTFL.....excuse me while I die laughing
Please---if you believe that, I got a bridge I can sell you---cheap.
Firstly, no one makes that much money without conniving---and hooking up with connivers.
He prefers people think he did not know Merkin and Madoff were crooks.
As Confuscious say---tis better to be thought a stupid airhead than to admit to financial hanky-panky.
In the elite, closed world of billionaires, the guy HAD to know Merkin and Madoff were crooks. He HAD to know who he was dealing with....there's just not that many people around sucking up billions.
And how convenient to be "a conservative" when conservatives held power---when the conniving neocons were duping Bush into pouring trillions into Mideast hellholes.
Lastly....let's see what the guy does now when the power has shifted. Probably like those ratfink CINO necons, he'll be taking a turn under Obama's desk.
