You mean the Confiscator-in-Chief?

All they have in Maine is rocks. Not exactly, no.
We got some big 'uns, ayuh, but in between them there's dirt.
And when the ground freezes, it freezes from the top down.
No big deal.
But when it thaws, it ALSO thaws from the top down.
Which means there's a whole lot of ice down below, and the melted snow, and rainwater has nowhere to go except to make soupy mud in between the rocks.

Good for you!
I’ve lived here all of my life.
When I was younger, I used to enjoy lots of winter sports.
I was pretty good at most of them, but skating was my favorite!
After a couple of knee surgeries, I can’t do that stuff anymore, so I cringe by the stove and complain!
*kidding*
Are you in Northern or Southern Maine?

Well,
Plant in pots because its to early to put in the garden unless you have blankets and such for your plants.
I just place them in the garage if bad weather is coming, and I transplant mid May

I was in Rockland last night and heard the peeper frogs!
A bit early, I think.
They're not out yet on my pond (a dozen miles west of there).
Next stop BLACK-FLY SEASON!
