I heard from someone on active duty today that they are conducting domestic US training exercises at this time ( operation garden plot style)

He (the president) shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur.

Can you imagine a situation where most Senators might not be present. The fate of the nation could actually be in the hands of a few tyrants.

He does not have the authority to go around the constitution.

If he tries by treaty and the Senate goes along, it WILL be the 2nd Shot Heard Round the World.

1/2 of the “states” in the nation will lock & load.
_____________
I agree! They are trying their best to figure out a way to disarm without getting their as*es kicked from here to hell and back in the next election or worse. I am convinced a gun grab will start a civil war. I feel we are already on the brink. Scary times, people.

The first part was bad, but nothing new.

Then there's this.

1. States Parties shall exchange among themselves, in conformity with their respective domestic laws and applicable treaties, relevant information on matters such as:

a. authorized producers, dealers, importers, exporters, and, whenever possible, carriers of firearms, ammunition, explosives, and other related materials;

What's a "carrier?" Carrier in store or Carrier as in someone who carries a concealed weapon? Both?

The rest isn't good, but not nearly as bad as the UN one that Bolton told no.

Everyone who is eligible should buy a gun and learn how to use it.

I'm itching to but in these tough economic times, I'm a bit hesitant. Got my eye on a Steyr 9mm.

Our so called constitution scholar has no clue.

He's no scholar. It's all a front, part of a plan years in the making.

If that is not bad enough, the constitution states that treaties supersede all laws AND the constitution.

No it does not. Treaties supercede *State* constitutions and laws, but not the federal Constitution.

To believe otherwise reflects a belief that the founders couldn't parse a simple English sentence.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in (the Constitution or Laws) of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

NOT

any Thing in (the Constitution)or (Laws of any State)

1997?

Yes, The Impeached One signed the treaty, but the Senate has never ratified it. Pretty sure they haven't voted on it.

See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2230465/posts?page=2#2>This post by Travis McGee (aka Matt Braken, former SEAL and author of the "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" series

Basicly he suggests:

If you have waited too long to arm up, or if you want one more, look at the excellent milsurp CZ-52 pistol and 7.62X25 Tokarev ammo.

You can get a CZ-52 for about $200 at any gun show or at many gun stores. The ammo can be had for as low as 11 cents a bullet in any quantity you want. Extra mags are from $12 to $20 each.

I know what it says. I also know how the bastards tried to ignore a comma in the second amendment by setting up arguments in that regard for year; and would have gotten away with it were it not due to the current SCOTUS complement.

Actually they tried to say that commas put there, probably by the transcriber, and not present in early official *printed* versions, had some meaning other than as places to pause, and catch your breath.

Thanks for the tip. Cheap ammo seems a rarity these days.

Yep. You understand how the statists operate. If there is anyway to interpret this clause to favor their designs, you know they’re gonna try.

I have tested that line with a number of smart people, and the majority could see how it will boldly be argued contrary to your interpretation. With the results of McCain-Feingold still choking us, and the brashness of the current administration, would you care to test SCOTUS on this?

Yes the brink. They are about to look into the Abyss, and if they do not blink......

It will be really ugly.

This is all so obvious: Obama and Congress have have decided the best way to "sell" gun control to a hypnotized American populace is to disguise it as really taking away guns from Mexican drug lords.

That is why I made up a 2A mail list where I update family and friends on new attacks the O admin is making and they pass it along and their friends pass it along...

Everyone needs to jump in the fray here... the gun rights you save, may be your own!

Gun Owners of America (GOA)

National Rifle Association (NRA) - Still offering free year membership!

Second Amendment Foundation (SAF)

I would hook you up, but due to the economic downturn I sold all my weapons, yeah sold all of them... and the ammo that goes with 'em... yeah that's what happened!
