Wherebouts ? I like wide open and empty, but not too hot. I'd miss snow, too.
We have lots of room up in the panhandle.
As for too hot, that’s why God gave us air conditioning and nuclear reactors.
West from Wichita Fall, South of Lubbock, North of San Angelo, and West to NM. The Big Nothing.
It is very nice in the winter, but summers can be hot. But most of the summer it is a dry hot, not muggy.
If you want specific locations, e-mail me.

I’d miss snow, too
____________
I would never miss snow. It’s heaven to never have to put on a heavy coat, boots, gloves, worry about hypothermia if the you have no heat or car breaks down. Perfection is when the temp never reaches freezing.
East Texas. Very pretty, lots of beautiful trees and hills and the people are the best.
Search the MLS for property in the far northern counties of Texas, along the Red River, or just south. Lots of inexpensive land there.
North Texas is pretty conservative, has tons of space, and it does get snow in the winter. Can't promise you won't get hot in the summer, but that's what A/C is for ;-)
