I was flipping around the dial looking at the coverage of other networks' coverage of the Tea Parties. I happened to catch Rick Sanchez of CNN interviewing a Tea Party organizer.
First thing he did was pick out an objectionable sign and make the guy defend it. The sign had a white hand with dollar bills in it handing them to a black hand and the sign read "I'm not your ATM."
Second thing he did was show an excerpt from a youtube video that was sourced by Huffpo where a guy was talking some crazy stuff and the girl taking the video screamed out "Burn the books."
Now, I happened to hear this discussed on Glenn Beck's show on Monday. Turns out this was at a 9-12 project meeting and the girl was a plant as proved by her other video postings. She was deliberately looking to make the event look kooky.
Beck discussed this in some detail and there was a gentleman that was on the tape asking her if she was sincere in what she was saying. The gentleman also phoned into Beck's show.
I would not have known the background to this if I hadn't been listening to Monday's show. However, I believe that Sanchez did. He said the video has "gone viral."
It is completely scummy and dishonest of Sanchez to pull crap like this. My opinion of him has sunk even lower than previously.
This happened in the 3:00 hour. 'Pod.
I’m going to watch Cavuto and Beck. Will be back after 6 pm EST.
Sanchez is just one more 0bamunist puke, watch carefully when he talks and you’ll see some White House media thug with his arm coming up his neck, working him like the sockpuppet he is.
The black hand could have been Michelle Obama being paid hundreds of thousands for a racist no show job that was eliminated when she became first lady.
Has any other first lady had a history of getting paid off like that?
So, you’re saying he pulled a Dirty Sanchez?
Sanchez is the poor man’s Olbermann.
Conservatives need to learn from this tactic and use it on the libs.
Join their orgs, attend their meetings, play the part and then kill the beast from the inside...
A Cleveland Steamer, perhaps? LOL
God forbid anyone imply that a lot of African Americans receive government assistance. We only have a 60 year history of it and constant agitation for it, constant arguments that it is “owed” etc.
I don’t like the racial symbols either, but please we do have billions upon billions going to people based on race, racial preferences, it is everywhere.
I can show you the Philadelphia standards to get special breaks as a minority owned business, they list every conceivable minority except white European males. And this goes on everywhere democrats rule.
leftwing media searches for the disruptors
We need to make up a new term, like “a St. Louis pizza” in honor of Obama. But I don’t think we’d be able to print the definition here.
His name is actually Rick HitNRun Sanchez
You got that right!
This reminds me of the whole “Kill him!” controversy at one of McCain’s rallies, where it was implied that all Republicans were dangerous racists. For those of us who have seen the sorts of messages and costumes paraded by lefty kooks during protests, then tuned into the nightly news to hear them described as nothing more than concerned citizens, this is yet more proof of the insulting bias of the MSM.
This morning he was on CNN’s spanish service saying that one of the reasons that we were having all these tea parties is that we are all racist. He has no interest in the truth and is one of the reasons we are losing the (legally here) hispanic votes that would naturally go to the more conservative party.
Just got back from the Hartford, CT Tea Party... RaceBannon did a fantastic job as usual "emceeing" the event, and the CT State Police estimated the crowd to be around 5,000!
I called my mother around 12:45pm when the crowd was all pumped up by RaceBannon's chants, and asked her what the local affiliates were showing. She said nothing except Channel 3 (CBS affiliate) is showing a bunch of empty chairs in front of the CT State Capitol. Unbelievable.
Politics 101:
When does free speech become hate speech?
When a conservative is speaking.
Telling the truth is “racist”.
Hooray!
