Aren’t you glad your tax dollars are used to provide the U.S. House and staff with a free gym, while you have to pay your money to work out at Gold’s or Bally’s? And aren’t you glad that it is nasty and apparently badly managed?

... the HSFC was informed by a HSFC patron that they had tested positive for MRSA ...

"They" who? This sounds like more than one case.

Really? I would have thought MRSA would have avoided the House gym as a matter of professional courtesy.

And in addition to it being a “staff” infection, it’s really MURTHA not MRSA that is the problem.

This is news? There is MRSA all over, it’s just that this person was cultured and found to have it. There are many more people in the community that have it as well, but haven’t been cultured yet.

The solution used to disinfect is the same solution used on a daily basis, Simple Green D Pro 3 disinfectant, virucidal, fungicidal.

Oh, the environmentally friendly soap! Too bad it's not really effective. But, Nancy has declared the Capitol to be "green". Use some real disinfectant, like bleach.

The routine use of antibacterial soaps is what leaves people succeptible to all sorts of skin infections. We are normally protected by the bacteria that inhabit our bodies, not endangered by them, and killing those bacteria leaves us defenseless.

Note that hospitals are most known for staph infestations, and they ‘sanitize’ everything in sight.
