Looking at the photos you posted, reminded me that McVeigh’s bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma was not clearly an act of terrorism. It was more an act of revenge for Waco.

It was terrorism. If he'd gone after Janet Reno, or even the BATFE/FBI agents directly involved, then it would have been an act of revenge. Going after little old ladies trying to straighten out their social security checks, not to mention a bunch of kids in a day care facility, it terrorism.

The ramifications are scary to contemplate. I’ll tell you one thing though, Timothy McVeigh is still thought of as a terrorist today, and yes the word ‘terrorist’ can still be used by the media and leftists. That’s more that can be said about the 09/11 perps. No, they are now just considered to be people working out their grievances against the United States, sort of freedom fighters if you will. You know, we deserved it...

The double standard on this is massive.

What bothered the left about 09/11, was not the deaths, destruction and mayhem. It was the idea that they couldn’t blame everything on Conservatives for a while. There actually were people out there who wanted to take us down, and they couldn’t gloss over that for a period of time. That unified us to some degree, and nothing urks a lefty more than to realize the right was right when it comes to groups out there who wanted to do us harm, and that they can’t deny it.

Well, they’re back at it today. The word terrorist can’t be used, unless it’s in conjunction with Conservative people who believe in right to life, and our founding fathers, documents, and principles.

There is a disease in the land, and it is Leftist, Socialist, Marxist, and Fascist in nature. This cancer must be dealt with, or the patient is terminal.

And no DHS, this is not a call to violence. Activism can and generally is wholesome. DUH!

George Washington would never have used language like that. That is incredibly insulting to a man of honor, principle and integrity. From “The 5000 Year Leap”, George Washington praised the American Constitution as the “palladium of human rights,” but pointed out that it could survive only “so long as there shall remain any virtue in the body of the people.”

You may be right about the language and you probably are, it was a more genteel time. But you cannot deny that he would have had the same reaction indicated by "WTF", if he'd seen what his beloved Republic had degenerated into.

BTW, I don't think by "virtue" he meant *only* civil language and a concern for "proper" behavior. He meant things like public spirit, patriotism, and a willingness to defend the rights of man.
