I told my DIL last night he would be rescued today. After all, him being the messiah and all, what better way/day than to save him but Easter Sunday.
Thank God the Captain is safe and our Military has done it again. His family will have a great Easter now.

I doubt it. I think the Navy made the decisions - might be wrong about that, but the 0 made me think he would probably DENY the Navy any attack.

The Capt. saw the writing on the wall.......he knew the Islamo-Kommie Kenyan was the CIC and not going to allow the Navy to rescue him.
Time was our ally. When we got enough resources in the area we just flooded the zone (to use a b-ball term) too many things for the pirates to watch.

Agree; this is great news for the Captain, his family and Maersk, but it took us 5 days wih mulitipe major warships. This will encourage more attacks on commercial shipping unless we do much more and really deter the pirates.
