Funny. Margaret Thatcher said one time she could trace the fall of the British Empire to the invention and use of the telephone. Seems while the Empire was doing well, their Viceroys and the like, on the scene, did the right thing without interference from Whitehall.

In a similar fashion here, when we have the nimrods in the Whitehouse telling each commander what to do rather than just giving them a strategic mission and allowing their operation plans to follow the direction of that mission, we end up with this: 4 rag tags in a row boat dictating to an entire naval fleet.

No it’s not W he can blame, it’s Bush 41. If Bush 41 doesn’t send the Marines in Dec 92 to protect and distribute food supplies in Somalia, the mothers of these pirates die of starvation before they were conceived. Thus there are no pirates today in Somalia, no people either, except al Queda. Bush 41 was irrresponsible for not foreseeing the results of his misplaced humanitarianism.
