Now we have our very own president who is casually declaring his wish to duplicate this and bring an end to one of the most globally prosperous periods we have known (if it weren’t for Communist thug dictators like Obama’s African relatives and the Islamic wackjobs, the world would actually be living fairly well).

I wonder if thereis now a Voodoo alter in the White House.....

Where are all of those liberals who made fun of Reagan’s “star wars” as a fantasy?

The ones who started that propaganda campaign likely didn't really believe it could never work. They were simply out to help their pals in Russia.

There are really only two kinds of science fiction stories. One has aliens coming from outer space to mess with us, and the other has humans messing around with things they don’t understand and where they have no business in the first place. I put this silly idea in the latter.

Rush has it right when he talks about how liberals and the global warming alarmists are showing their ignorance and arrogance when they think they can destroy Earth’s atmosphere. Sure, they could with a couple of dozen, hundred, nuclear bombs, but there’s just too much atmosphere and too few of us for us to think we can make major alterations to it on our own.

Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

Our economy should be at that point in another month or so

Funny how after a decade of flat or declining temperatures, a recently acknowledged long term future cooling trend due to the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, and a Sun that has seemingly shifted into Idle, that the AGW’ers would propose a grand countermeasure based on their greenhouse theories.

To wit, the jig may be up for the Government grant and tax gravy trains, and the vested interests are looking to maintain their cash flow. If they shoot something into the air in a grandiose way, they can claim victory as temperatures continue to decline.

Neat, huh?

Strange, I haven’t heard this one getting much play on the evening news.

Can GUARANTEE that if the sitting President was a Republican this would have been the biggest joke on the MSM.

The MSM is just trying to figure out how to deal with the fact that their guy is a screaming psychopath.

Seems to me that this could be an act of war.....after all it would likely affect every country on earth...now that's arrogant and foolish.

Maybe we can outsource this evil plan to Chavez or Kim J Ill....

Since global temperatures haven’t cooperated with global warming for the last decade, the only hope for the alarmists it turn up the heat - the rhetorical heat. However, they have become so absurd that even supporters are laughing at them. Criticism is no longer appropriate, only scorn.

In the 70’s they were saying we might have to put miles of black fabric on the north and south poles to save us from Global Cooling. Check out this old Time magazine article: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,944914,00.html

Well, if he was any good he would do something to prevent the 60 mph wind storm we are expecting today in West Texas.
I’ll be waiting to see if he can/s. :<)

it was at the apex of a huge cloud of water vapor that stretched for dozens of miles.

And there is probably a cooler climate and lush plant growth from the extra rainfall 20 miles downwind from the plant. The farmers are getting free man-made rain.

One nitpick of mine, and I mention it only because the MSM never will, is that if you can see it, it's not water vapor. Clouds are made of liquid water droplets, which interact very differently than water vapor in the atmosphere. During the day clouds have a strong cooling effect, which is the principle negative feedback to global warming. GW socialists and the MSM will never talk about this.
