CRUCIFIXES, Bibles and all other Christian symbols have been banned from a hospital's chapel when it is not being used for a church service. The Mosman Daily has learnt that Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney has bes been ordered to remove Christian content by New South Wales bureaucrats to avoid offending Muslims, Hindus or other non-Christian believers who may want to pray in the chapel.
Hospital staff say that while the chapel was built for Christians, they now want the chapel to be completely non-denominational.
An inspection of the chapel last week by the Daily found no trace of a crucifix or any other religious symbol inside the chapel.
The Daily has been told that church leaders must bring their own symbols to use in a service.
The chapel building also contains a separate Muslim prayer room.

Too much trouble to roll out the rug then roll it back up when done?
How do you spell Christianity?

I’m getting more than a little tired of reading reports similar to this. It’s time for some push-back.
This is a Christian nation. End of story.
BTW, I realize this story isn’t about a situation in the U.S., but the same types of things are taking place here.
Christians should demand that the rugs or whatever they have in that room be removed when it is not is use.
This is an Aussie problem, mate
I for one dont believe this article.
Seems like the only safe church is gunna be a home church soon enough!

Why should anyone demand?
If it is their room..
If it is a Loan space then surely the policy will cover the rules.
Gee I hope if my Rosary beads ever spill on chance you wont demand I bend and pick each one up..I may need your help.
Hmmm-There is no reason Christians shouldn’t go into the muzzie prayer room and recite Christian prayers since Christians are to pray constantly.
Because they want to defile it. Think of the Church of the Nativity.
There are two rooms. My point was, since the muslims have their own separate room, then what right do they have to demand Christians to remove crosses that are in a different room?
It's a two way street.
I find it strange that other religions have a hard time sharing space with Christians in a hospital.
We shall over come.
Someone needs to put some of those little “Chick Publications” books in the ROP prayer room and stand back to watch the fun!!

Learnt???
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I want the Muslim prayer room used for chess tournaments when they’re not using it.....
no, wait, one of the chess pieces has a cross on it....and then there’s the bishop......ooooohhh, this is bad.
-————seriously, we’re still in the first wave of this, and it’s too bad no one can see that it MUST BE ADDRESSED NOW, and not capitulated to....another form of the crushing debt we’ll be leaving children and grandchildren is how to deal with what will inevitably be a growing and increasingly aggressive Muslim presence. Including the President himself. So I don’t think we’ll be dealing with it at all. And I did see that this was Australia.
The only reason that people of one belief must hide and displace the symbols of another religion is because deep down they KNOW that their religion is false, and they have a deeply held belief of inadequacy and hopelessness. Which explains the muslim belief of domination.

What if I wanted to use that room, will the muslim symbols removed? Besides, why do the muslims always get special treatment?
Islam has a hard time sharing anything with anyone anywhere.
Then again, one could debate whether Islam is really a religion, or just a murderous death cult.
not a good sign when an ally country capitulates to the enemy
