My worry is this story was leaked because the U.S. Federal Prosecutor in Raleigh, Geo. Holding, is the man who has, in the course of a Video Poker investigation, already put away Frank Ballance, Speaker Jim Black, the traitor Michael Decker, Meg Scott Phipps, etc.
Then again, his dismissal by the president would raise some eyebrows, if anyone were allowed to find out about it. We know Clinton, for example, fired every U.S. Attorney soon after taking office, as was his right.
Of course, when President Bush fired four partisan U.S. Attorneys, the chattering classes went Postal. Does anyone know how BO has handled this? I haven't heard anything, yet, about the fate of U.S. Attorneys... My best guess is a slow purge will soon get underway of any who are not Obama contributors.
