Police confirm a weekend tragedy was a murder-suicide.
Early Saturday morning officers found a man lying in an apartment parking lot in Eau Claire. He'd jumped from a sixth floor apartment after stabbing his common law wife to death.
Homicide Acting Staff Sergeant Patty McCallum tells 660News investigators are looking for any information to shed light on the tragedy.
"We are looking for more people to come forward to give information on this couple that will help us piece together more of their life," said McCallum.
She says the common-law couple was together for five years and had previous domestic issues.
A child was found unharmed near the woman's body and is now in the care of family services.
Tall building kill.
I call for a law to ban tall buildings!
There should be a law against multi-story assault buildings :0)
Prayers for the dead here.
I guess the gun-ban saved the day
They should try to talk them into reversing the order in which these occur.
This is impossible because murder and suicide cannot happen where guns are banned.
