One of the local scribes here in Toronto said the Jays would be the worst in AL this year.

Thanks for the update. Shades of the Payne Stewart tragedy, eh?

Except for the fact that Payne Stewart didn't steal an airplane, of course!

Flying at high altitude without using oxygen can cause a pilot to lose consciousness, and a plane on autopilot can continue flying itself.

My first thought was what happened to Payne Stewart. My second thought is what nationality is he?

If it comes down to a battle of remaining fuel the 172 will win this one, hands down.

FWIW,,,Barksdale has a high CAP up now,,,

On Fox,,,pilot has landed on/near a highway...

“It appears to be flying over 14,000 feet. The “pilot” is probably incoherent to what is happening right now due to a lack of oxygen.”
Most people aren’t impaired at at@ 14,000’.

I fler @ 14,000’ from Mexico City to Loretto in 7 hours with no oxygen.

Near stall speed, I bet. I remember when I was on the U.S.S. Independence C.V.-62 and the Russians sent out two TU-95 Bears and they flew so slow thaat the engines on the F-14s nearly stalled out, while the F/A-18s had no problem.

Both the F-16 and F-18 are considered lightweight planes.

Not now, the mood has gotten ugly in Toronto. Somebody threw a baseball at a Tiger outfielder from the stands and they’ve all been off the field for nearly 10 minutes.

I don’t begrudge anyone a home opener win. (Other than the yankees or Red Sox.)

They threw a chair at Roger Maris during his 61 HR year, in Yankee Stadium and didn't leave the field.
