Very sad. Insidious disease. She graced my bedroom wall in my teenage years. What a gal.
Sad. Ryan O’Neil, who I was never crazy about, has been very supportive and is taking care of her. He must be a pretty decent guy.
There’s a disease referenced here that I was not aware existed.
He's the guy who's been treating (successfully) my mother-in-law for the past 6 years (colon cancer and lymphoma). He's a great guy... personally and professionally (even if he did grow his hair real long recently and started to act like a rock star).
Sounds like she got fetal stem cell injections in Germany. If so, bad idea. Last year, an Israeli man got the same thing there, and came home to develop dozens of new tumors all inside his body and was dead within 2 weeks. Not only are fetal stem cells unproven to cure dieases, they have proven to be quite dangerous when injected into the body.
Maybe. - Fact is she abandoned the treatment advised and flew off to Germany to undergo a "cure."
Many seem to believe that there is a big conspiracy in America to "cover up" cancer cures, and that they can all be saved by jetting off to some other country.
She isn't the first Hollywierd type to do this and die.
Doctors contemplated whether to implant a radiation seeder which differs from conventional radiation and is used to treat other types of cancer.
Fawcett, however, chose to travel to Germany with O'Neal for embryonic stem cell cancer treatment not available in the U.S.
This treatment in Germany has been recorded for a possible reality television show.
I'm not saying that conventional therapy would have cured her relapse again, but to not do it probably was not the wisest choice. - Poor Farah. - what a beauty.
Prayers for this very beautiful woman.
My wife developed breast cancer at 28 and when it spread to her liver, it was over quickly. All happened in 9 months so it was a blessing she didn’t suffer for a lengthy period. But the liver is really bad news for Farrah. Prayers for her...
Sounds like she had a liver biopsy that caused her abdominal problem. My ex-wife was diagnosed with localized rectal cancer 2 years ago and opted for a radical excision with a permanent colostomy. A great, great gal that doesn’t deserve this terrible disease. Without any radiation or chemotherapy, she is doing quite well. Only time will tell and I wish her and Ms Fawcett my best wishes and my prayers.
Don’t want you to miss an opportunity
Prayers for her recovery.
Sounds like she is about done for. Probably time to make her peace with whomever.
I always thought she was pretty but for some reason never liked that famous poster. I guess just too many teeth or too phony looking a smile.
We used to call her “Pair O’ Faucets”.
Cancer’s a terrible thing. I wish her well. Makes me feel older every time I hear about some hottie from my youth dealing with old age issues.
It just about killed me to see Cheryl Ladd doing ads for a menopause product. She still looks good (through soft lenses) but it is so sad to watch the hotties of my generation age.
That’s too bad. I love my Jill Monroe, I mean Farrah. =(
The primary challenge with anal/rectal cancer is getting good margins on tumor removal, given the limited space.
Wishing the best for the actress, will pray for her soul. Few survive metastatic disease to the liver.
Now NBC will ride her casket all the way to profits.
