My mother was a truck driver for years. It’s the perfect job for a serial killer.

LOL! I have a girlfriend who drove truck after her divorce. She made a ton of cash, and took her kids with her to see the USA.

I saw a documentary about five or ten years ago, where the FBI speculated that there were about 35 active serial killers in the US, and 30 of them were thought to be truckers.

Recent arrests in the midwest have born this out.

And it only took them FIVE YEARS and a hundred million tax dollars in FBI overtime to figure this out! ;)

One of my first thoughts, too.

Gee-Whiz, Wally! There’s a major Interstate Highway running north and south all along the Mississippi River route where all those young men have been killed. Who knew?

Nope. Nothing to see here. Move along! Grrrrrrr!

It’s the truck stop food that makes them do this

Old news. Cops all across the nation have known about this for years. It was the theme of a major motion picture that was released in 2004 Suspect Zero . Pretty good movie with powerful performances by Ben Kingsley and Aaron Eckhart.

500 backlogged murders and they just started the special unit 5 years ago??? The FBI is a little slow on the up take.

Give the FBI a break.

They’re in WV and are busy compiling a database of which salad dressing you bought last week.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who make themselves available as victims. Hookers, drifters, runaways etc.

A truck driver who picks up anyone for any reason is a fool at best.

I fooled them. I don’t buy salad dressing, so they’ll have to fall back on the “how many cans of cat food” data base.

There was a story in the nineties that stated there were 43 serial killers using the interstate as a hunting ground. There may n]have been more but the FBI had identified that number of distinctly seperate by MO multiple murders.
