Michelle Obama comes out on top
With all the fuss over what Michelle Obama wore in Europe over the past several days, it was this weekend's fashion faceoff with French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy in France that everyone awaited.
The winner? Obama, by a thread.

Bruni has way less makeup and is naturally beautiful. They really have to powerwash the lipstick, eyeliner and pancake on the pig.
I don’t like Michelle or her ‘style’, but the french first lady is no lady. Michelle, for all her faults, isn’t known for sleeping with everything that has two legs...or having a baby with the SON of her ‘lover’.
Michelle is, in all probability, a better person and wife than Carla.
I do feel sorry for Mrs. Sarkozy that she has to wear boring flats with a fabulous dress. Even when her husband wears elevators, she is still taller than he is.

Oui, I was speaking in the “sens du mode” only. Although the French take a different view on these matters than we do.
LOL-Forgot that one.I work with lasers and I had a senior engineer use the term “ghettotastic” to describe a really cheesy laser process that wasnt quite working well.She had a Masters degree and it totally caught me off guard and we laughed for a half hour.
This is one of the few dresses that MO hasn’t screwed up. However, given the close-up, I have to go with Carla.

You should hear the mindless gushing over Michelle on the Chicago tv news. Not surprised that the Trib would write a story like this. The comments after the article are pretty funny. Lots of people proclaiming that the empress has no clothes....
