Michelle Obama comes out on top
With all the fuss over what Michelle Obama wore in Europe over the past several days, it was this weekend's fashion faceoff with French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy in France that everyone awaited.
The winner? Obama, by a thread.
Here, a review of the first ladies' week in fashion.

I never knew Michelle was a UDA fan...hell there might be hope for her yet.
There is absolutely NO WAY!
Ladies, please post comparisons. :-)
Thumbs down to both ensembles.
I wonder how many horses are missing hair from their tails for Ms. Obama to get that hairdo.

Recalling Shy Di: We couldn't help but recall Princess Diana when Obama turned up in Prague wearing a jumbo-bowed white blouse by Moschino, with a Michael Kors black pencil skirt and her signature Azzedine Alaia belt. Is there any political fashion icon in the past half-century that Obama has left unreferenced and un-updated? We think not."
You mean this hideous thing?
LOL.
The Angry Black Woman has worn that belt TOO many times to be coincidental......lets start a conspiracy theory...it is her homing device/power pack/teleporter/ and not merely a cheap arse looking patent leather belt.
you can take a girl off the street, but you can’t take the street off the girl
Are you kidding? The Chicago-Trib must be getting stimulus money. Good grief. Obama’s liberal views are a throwback to the 70’s and Michelle’s clothes look like the sofa cushions on my grandmother’s couch.
Carla Bruni is a looker, maybe not as much as during her modelling days, but she continues to maintain herself. Michelle is as wide as a 747. I hear they are making a movie about her called A$$ Force One. Until I saw her, I didn’t realize “double-wide” could be a size as well as a house.
To even imply that Michelle Obama is more fashionable than Bruni is like journalism malpractice. But hey, if you want to keep getting invited to the state dinners, you gotta say baby looks great in upholstery.
The belt looks like it came from John Candy's atrocious disguise (when he goes into the salon) in the movie "Who's Harry Crumb?"

It looks like some kind of medical restraint gone wrong.
Some kind of medical restraint from the 19th century.
Bruni = Not Guilty
