Are you kidding? The Chicago-Trib must be getting stimulus money. Good grief. Obama’s liberal views are a throwback to the 70’s and Michelle’s clothes look like the sofa cushions on my grandmother’s couch.
Carla Bruni is a looker, maybe not as much as during her modelling days, but she continues to maintain herself. Michelle is as wide as a 747. I hear they are making a movie about her called A$$ Force One. Until I saw her, I didn’t realize “double-wide” could be a size as well as a house.
To even imply that Michelle Obama is more fashionable than Bruni is like journalism malpractice. But hey, if you want to keep getting invited to the state dinners, you gotta say baby looks great in upholstery.
Calling Michelle stylish and fashionable is patently ridiculous. Everyone knows it yet the press keeps banging that drum.
She's tall and if she'd just straighten up she'd look much better. But she has lousy posture, wears styles completely wrong for her body type, wears styles that look tacky - sweaters too small, dresses too short that show too much leg, belts high on her waist, poofy 1950's style dresses.
The winner? Clearly Carla Bruni by an entire body.

Hey, guys, maybe we need to start our own thread on this.
When people talk about how glam Michelle is, I laugh.
I still think she looks like she has paw prints all over that coat. It’s really ugly. Bruni looks so classy by comparison. Obviously Bruni knows that plain is always better.
What I've noticed is that the other ladies dressed down as much as they could allow themselves to do so just so that 'chelle would look better.
Mrs Brown needs an award.
Now it is OK for a President and his wife to have lavish parties each Wednesday at the White House. To eat the most expensive food and wear the most expensive cloth. To tour Europe with hundreds of staff and cost the tax payers millions of dollars. This is all OK now for media and not just OK but it is great. In fact they want the public to be so amazed by this as if they are watching a fairy tale movie. If a Republican President even did a small fraction of this the hypocrite in the media will be demanding his impeachment.
I think Carla purposely toned down her style this weekend. She is always beautiful and classy.
This “Emperor’s New Clothes” game has got to stop. Mrs. Zero doesn’t have an ounce of style, grace, or class. She’s fresh and new on the scene—fine. But everyone can tell that what they are saying about her just isn’t true!!!
Bruni’s outfit is simple and elegantly restrained as French ladies’ clothing is known to be, Obamamama looks like she bought the fabric rejects of a 60’s flower child.
Figures the American press can’t tell the difference.
Whoever wrote the article was smoking something serious.
Most of Michelle Obama’s clothes looked fairly hideous on her.
I think she’s trying to be the New Jackie Kennedy, but she needs to get someone to give her an honest opinion of how she really looks.
The Czech and Japanese First Ladies looked more elegant, never mind the French!
