I live in Fayette County Georgia. At 3am this morning the windows on the west side of the house shook with a massive concussive force. I ran outside....nothing. I do not believe this was aircraft related. I called the sheriff's dept, they received several calls. Tinfoil hat time. Is it possible that there is preparation being made for crowd control this april 15th with the use of sound? Anyone else in Georgia experience this this morning?
Nothing on the AJC web site. Keep us posted if you learn what it was.
These large booms are being reported all over east coast.
Unlike the leftest mobs we will not be rioting on the 15th.

Well, you got that part right.
I hear booms at night all the time but I never see or hear anything reported about them. I guess I just assume they’re the result of military jets at high speed.
what are they?
Well, not sure if this might be related... back in the mid 70’s, my brother and s-i-l were up at about 1 am with my new nephew. He said something hit the side of their house, knocking pictures off the wall.. to this day, no idea. And we are in Ga, near Winder.. so..
Could have been a precursor to the nasty Thunderstorms coming this way.
And why do you believe this.
Sonic booms sound and “feel” different, depending upon atmospheric conditions at the time, and including the altitude and speed of the aircraft, and its vector in relation to you.
Lots of low level training in your area, as well as a MOA nearby, and an inadvertent transonic flight likely happened—it happens easily in the F-15, F-16, and not to mention the F-22.
yeah, just the term, “tea party” makes the libs nervous i’m sure.
earth tremor?
okay, you could be right. since i wasn’t outside at the time. i’ve never felt a sonic boom while inside before.
It's doubtful that will matter. When it comes time to control dissident, but peaceful, crowds the "truth" of civil disobedience can easily be fabricated.
no, not a tremor. this was a large force from a horizontal direction.
You know, there are earthquakes in the Atlanta area (although they seem more like tremors). Our house on the north side was hit with one several years ago. Felt exactly like you are describing. House shook for a few moments and we wondered what the heck was going on. Took us a while to figure out it was an earthquake tremor.
I didn’t hear or feel anything at 3am, but I can sleep though anything. We have had lots of military aircraft overhead lately. Yesterday afternoon 2 choppers rattled my house..only about 200ft overhead.
No worries. . .and you do have Dobbins to the north, as well as the F-22 assembly plant in Martin Marietta, and to the south you have Macon—both locations have a lot of fighter traffic, and a lot of it are test flights.
