This was no April Fools joke. In the first two minutes of The Daily Show on Wednesday night, Comedy Central host Jon Stewart made angry faces and told Rush Limbaugh to "Get the f out of here." He was channeling his inner Olbermann. After playing audio of Limbaugh saying he was leaving due to "absurd" New York tax hikes, Stewart angrily yelled "Finally!" to the screams of his whipped-up but always obedient liberal studio audience.
He exclaimed: "For years, for years, for years, New Yorkers have done everything in our power to get this guy to leave town!" These included: "We knew he was into drugs, so we cleaned up Times Square. We even opened up a Disney Store in the very place he would normally go to buy drugs."
He joked they bused people in for Gay Pride parades to annoy Limbaugh, hired Ivy Leaguers to play Middle Eastern taxi drivers, and declared that everyone who smokes cigars is a "douchebag." Stewart even claimed "We outlawed murder, figuring he was a guy with a taste for it."
He then ended the segment by saying, "If you're heading out from Uptown, take 42nd Street west to Ninth Avenue take a left, go down four blocks, Lincoln Tunnel's on your right, and you know what? Here's my EZ-Pass. Get the f out of here."
More screams from the Stewart mob followed. This wasnt meant to be funny. Stewart had a face that was screwed-up and angry. This is merely the latest example of how Stewart's drive-by shooting of CNN's Crossfire in 2004 was remarkably insincere. Stewart really doesn't think ideological mud fights accomplish anything -- as long as they're balanced, apparently.

Talk about a mental disorder.
Maybe the People that live in New York should pay a 99.9 percent tax... They seem to think taxation is such a good thing.
In my opinion, his show has been doing the same type of comedy for years. Sad that people think recycled humor makes someone a comedic genius.
What courage to shout such controversial remarks in front of the choir. Wonder how many wealthy will take Rush’s lead and leave that pit?
Pray for America, Our Troops and Rush
Given that Rush makes something like $50 million a year, that’s going to be a lot of tax money going out the Lincoln Tunnel. And he’s not going to be the only one leaving, either.
Why are these people even on the air? And they say Rush is insidious. Folks like Stewart are just plain noxious. Enough is enough. This guy isn’t funny, isn’t clever, and isn’t worth watching.
I do remember Jon Stewart’s very sanctimonious speech about how cable talk shows are becoming very low brow.
Now that I’ve mentioned that, this little screed borders on bigotry and hatred.
However, it’s pretty clear that much of the left pays attention to Rush Limbaugh ALL THE TIME because he only mentioned it on his radio show once for a couple of minutes.
It’s clear that of the 20 million listeners Rush has, many work on liberal staffs.
Maybe there are some folks that TV cameras have a bizarre effect on. Tune in to MeSSonNBC or CNyukNyukNyuk on any goven day. I rest my case.
It’d be nice if every conservative millionaire and tobacco-smoker were to leave New York. See what they think of their tax increases then.
Why is Hannity still there?
LOL! They’re so stupid they dont even consider the lost revenue of driving the sucessful away from their kiddy pool
Stewart is officialy part of the liberal media now. He can hide behind satire or whatever the Daily Show (and Letterman, etc) is labeled, but he’s clearly blurring the lines between news and entertainment.
Good question...
Hannity? Listening?
Although I don’t appreciate Stewart, his opinions, or his choice of language, I would certainly get out of New York. Let it be left to the liberal Stewarts of the World to ruin, like they’ve wrecked Detroit, Los Angeles, etc. The only bright spot was when Giuliani cleaned up New York City. And no, I don’t care what you think of Giuliani.
I do not see the humor in whipping up a ‘mob mentality’ against other Americans...
Jon Stewart...yet another juvenile liberal who thinks he’s so clever and is really only a legend in his own mind...
Jon Stewart.... never heard of her.
Jon Stewart has found a niche audience for her type of humor.
During Monday’s show, Rush should remind Jon that Rush’s ratings are higher than Jon’s.
