From New President of Episcopal Divinity School: 'Abortion is a Blessing'
Catholic Online ^ | 4/3/09 | Randy Sly

Posted on 04/01/2009 6:17:02 PM PDT by tcg

These are the two things I want you, please, to remember – abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done...

The announcement on Monday, March 30 that The Rev. Dr. Katherine Ragsdale was appointed as the sixth and newest president of Episcopal Divinity School (EDS) in Cambridge, MA, has orthodox and pro-life Episcopalians shaking their heads.

Ragsdale, who is an outspoken advocate of abortion and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender) rights, was the unanimous choice of the Board of Trustees and will begin her duties on July 1, 2009.

In addition to the press release and public letter concerning the appointment, the EDS website also has a link to Rev. Ragsdale’s sermon blog. There, the first sermon is entitled, “Our Work is Not Done.” The content has been cited and circulated on a large number of pro-life and conservative Christian blogs. An excerpt follows:

“When a woman wants a child but can’t afford one because she hasn’t the education necessary for a sustainable job, or access to health care, or day care, or adequate food, it is the abysmal priorities of our nation, the lack of social supports, the absence of justice that are the tragedies; the abortion is a blessing.

YES! That’s what I was trying to get at with my post. I knew there was something about the world being twisted around and what was evil would be hailed as good and vice versa.

Why is it that people who approve of abortion had mothers who didn’t?

but I think I have read in the Bible, a warning about those who call good, evil and evil, good.

And we Catholics we warned that starting in about 1960, there would be a lot of that. Hitting a fever pitch now.

In the 60s, the Left thought they could destroy our society from the outside. They finally realized that would never happen.

They switched tactics and decided their best option was to destroy it from the inside, and they have spent 40 years infiltrating and gaining control. They now have control.

Religion, education, charitable institutions --- they have infiltrated all of them and gained control of their assets and influence all with the objective to destroy civilization and remake it in their own perverted image.

The same G-D 60s filthy hippie punks who I hated in the 60s now control most of those institutions who are the foundation of our culture.

It is no surprise that Episcopal Church has been lost the the Godless left. It was just another institution that was targeted all those years ago.

It's unlikely that we can reverse the control of those institutions. We don't have the 40 year option that they had, because we will be a police state long before that.

Our best bet is to abandon those institutions and form alternatives that will allow us to preserve our culture. In other words, a new 'Reformation.'

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Matt 24:10-16 (KJV)

Can it be far away now?

I can’t recall the exact wording but I think I have read in the Bible, a warning about those who call good, evil and evil, good.

Thanks for posting that and it is exactly what I was thinking of. It also seems to be exactly what this character is doing.

The Episcopal Church, for the most part, is nothing more than a Sunday morning country club for Liberals who feel guilty for their vapid life choices! But then they continue to practice their evil deeds Mon-Sat.

Sorry if I’ve offended any “good Episcopalians” here .. although I don’t think I’ve ever met a “good” Episcopalian.

Jeremiah 23:11-12

11 “Both prophet and priest are godless;
even in my temple I find their wickedness,”
declares the LORD.

12 “Therefore their path will become slippery;
they will be banished to darkness
and there they will fall.
I will bring disaster on them
in the year they are punished,”
declares the LORD.

Well, then why stop at abortion - why not infanticide, too?

These people are so disgusting and so morally rotten to the core - the islamists must lick their chops everytime they read stuff like this - one step closer to shariah.

So what’s new? There’s been a “Blessing for a Woman about to Have an Abortion” circulating for years and years—used by Episcopal Satanists like this new lespiscopal bishop.

The church is the last bastion of conservative sanity. I can see that has now been compromised.

A cabal of homosexual bishops has been laboring quietly at this overturn since the 1960's, when they fronted for a "dialog" between the homosexual groups in San Francisco and "the Church". The "dialog" meetings were a put-up job, of course, since the "Church" representation was controlled by the cabal.

Search on "gay history" at the UC San Diego website and you'll find the reference that discloses the compromised nature and agenda of the Episcopal Church's representatives at those early meetings.
