These are the two things I want you, please, to remember abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done...
The announcement on Monday, March 30 that The Rev. Dr. Katherine Ragsdale was appointed as the sixth and newest president of Episcopal Divinity School (EDS) in Cambridge, MA, has orthodox and pro-life Episcopalians shaking their heads.
Ragsdale, who is an outspoken advocate of abortion and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender) rights, was the unanimous choice of the Board of Trustees and will begin her duties on July 1, 2009.
In addition to the press release and public letter concerning the appointment, the EDS website also has a link to Rev. Ragsdales sermon blog. There, the first sermon is entitled, Our Work is Not Done. The content has been cited and circulated on a large number of pro-life and conservative Christian blogs. An excerpt follows:
When a woman wants a child but cant afford one because she hasnt the education necessary for a sustainable job, or access to health care, or day care, or adequate food, it is the abysmal priorities of our nation, the lack of social supports, the absence of justice that are the tragedies; the abortion is a blessing.

April Fool’s?
And, apparently, an idiot.
Sickening. Makes the spirit within cringe.
God bless and protect your kids, ammom!
I can’t recall the exact wording but I think I have read in the Bible, a warning about those who call good, evil and evil, good.
Why thank you. One is home and the other two are doing pretty well.
Got any Fire and Brimstone?
“Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens” Genesis 19:24. “Turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly” II Peter 2:6.

Abortion is a “blessing” to who - the child or your Lord and master, Satan?
Yours & Satan’s work is never done when it comes to evil.
I do not condemn nor judge, but out of your own mouth you cindemn yourself. When are we going to stop being amazed at the filth these perverts spew?
The church is the last bastion of conservative sanity. I can see that has now been compromised.
didn’t it used to be a church??
I wonder if she is related to the now-deceased Richard Ragsdale, who worked the Rockford abortion mill for decades and worked tirelessly to expand the abortion industry in Illinois.
many churches have become make-work projects for leftists
This is another reason I use to be an Episcopalian.
I don’t belong on this planet anymore.
Ragsdale is also a diesel dyke.
Episcopalians ARE an abortion. (And I was raised one. Rejected it in 1979.)
Molechites
Oh God, this really isn’t an April Fools joke is it?
Why are lesbians so intent on abortion? I never have figured that out.
That being said, Satan has taken over the world and the end is near people. That’s the only thing I can figure because I’m getting permanent wrinkles from my “WTF?” face with what all I have been reading in the past 3 months alone.
