The Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge has unanimously elected a new dean, Dr. Katherine Ragsdale.
Chris Johnson at the Midwest Conservative Journal posts:
How radically pro-abortion is Katie Rags? This radically pro-abortion:
"And when a woman becomes pregnant within a loving, supportive, respectful relationship; has every option open to her; decides she does not wish to bear a child; and has access to a safe, affordable abortion - there is not a tragedy in sight -- only blessing. The ability to enjoy God's good gift of sexuality without compromising one's education, life's work, or ability to put to use God's gifts and call is simply blessing.
These are the two things I want you, please, to remember - abortion is a blessing
and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done.
I want to thank all of you who protect this blessing - who do this work every day: the health care providers, doctors, nurses, technicians, receptionists, who put your lives on the line to care for others (you are heroes -- in my eyes, you are saints); the escorts and the activists; the lobbyists and the clinic defenders; all of you. You're engaged in holy work."

That explains a lot of it -
the rejection of anything from a man is part of her core thought processes.

It sounds to me like she’s trying to convince herself.

Let me give a probable background for this person -
probably molested and impregnated as a young person, had an abortion, knows what really happened, turned to homosexuality in reaction to her molestation, and is pro-abortion in order to justify her participation in the killing of a baby.
But that’s just a guess.

When a woman wants a child but cant afford one because she hasnt the education necessary for a sustainable job, or access to health care, or day care, or adequate food, it is the abysmal priorities of our nation, the lack of social supports, the absence of justice that are the tragedies; the abortion is a blessing. The face of evil.

SIGH....seems it’s not not an April Fools joke.
Well, no wonder the Episcopal Church is in such a mess (and whole sections are defecting to the conservative, African leadership). In my area, the episcopal churches are nearly empty (about as bad as the Luthern chruches in Sweden).
Gay marriage
Gay priests
Happy go lucky liberal politics
Abortion is a blessing
okay, what next?

Whew boy, let me break out the translator:
"decides she is too selfish to let another human live; and has access to your taxpayer money to fund her murderous eviction - there is no excuse for shame or disgust - only encouragement. The right to recreational unprotected screwing without accepting the responsibility or the consequences on one's education, occupation, or free time is more important than someone else's life."
Whew, that fixed it.
