And non-union plants will be shut down. I bought my Nissan Titan not only because I liked it and it was the biggest vehicle I could afford, but also because it came from a non-UAW shop.
And what cars will be built and by whom and when and for how much.

Uh...that’s not fair. Why doesn’t he mandate manufacturers in all 57 states? He could even limit how many cars could be produced. He needs to make Detroit share their pie.

And then there’s the UAW. They are in fact the beginning and the end of the government’s interest in General Motors. They will come out of this as the big winners. Never mind that the average automaker earns half again as much in wages and benefits as the average American. UAW boss Ron Gettelfinger, with CEO Obama at his side, will announce “deep, painful concessions” to be suffered by the union membership.
But don’t believe a word of it. The union will come out of this nearly untouched, with their exorbitant compensation packages basically intact, and minor changes in work and seniority rules. And you the taxpayers will be paying for every penny of this, because they won’t be earning all that pay in the market. GM in bankruptcy will force every one of its stakeholders to take major pain except the UAW membership.
Economic Fascism: Companies are privately owned, like capitalism, but government decides the production quotas of each item, like communism.
Obama is mentally ill or a narcissist.
Thank God for Toyota and the South. Detroit deserves what it has come to.
The Resident does not know how to read financial statements. GM has an unfunded balance sheet liabilities, pension and healthcare obligations exceeding $217 billion. That is what it will take to bail out GM.
Also, GM’s revenue is bs. They recognize sales revenue when the vehicle is transported to the dealer. We all know how many lots are full of unsold cars.
GM is a sham and cannot be saved even by the Resident Dictator in Chief.
Rick tried to take GM to bankruptcy now but the Resident would not let him do it.

There’s at least one psychologist who said he was narcissistic during the campaign. I’m inclined to believe that man was right. There are plenty of goofballs in America who will feed his narcissism.
Ok the President is now a car dealer using the US Treasury as his Finance Dept.
I just read that Bammer wants us all to by a GM car and he is “willing to DEAL!!”

I used to be kind of scared of him. Lately he has become just silly.
