Tell me when and where, and Ill drive from Tampa to be there. Piece by piece they are taking our freedoms. Ill not stand for it anymore. VIVA REVOLUTION
__________
AMEN!! I can’t believe they are planning to just not go. GO, get even more than you planned. Everyone bring cameras. WTH is going on???? Has everyone gone MAD? I feel like I am living in lala land. Are people that afraid? If so, there is no hope. Accept the Communism and be good little minions and keep your mouth shut.
So, what happens if thousands show up anyway and refuse to leave?
________
Two things can happen.
1. The do nothing and realize their bs didn’t work
2. They arrest everyone and then the sh*t hits the fan and welcome to the 2nd revolution.
The tea gathering will back down
__________
If they back down,I have no respect whatsoever for cowards like that.
These tea parties need to be held on the weekends. People have jobs, their kids are in school. Turn out will triple if it’s a weekend.
Go anyway. This is the PERFECT opportunity to show them we’re not going to put up with their BS.
It is not the Governor. It is the city government of Cape Coral. I heard that many folks plan to gather but guess they won’t have an event. They do have a right to gather on the sidewalk I believe. Remains to be seen what happens.
That’s funny, in a way, that we conservatives have such a fear of government that we now ask permission to air our grievances. Funny in a way, sad in another. “Excuse me, Mr. County Commissioner, would it be possible for us to peacefully gather to protest the direction this country is heading?” “NO!” “Oh, okay then.”
Sheesh. Nobody’s ever going to do anything.
My thoughts exactly. So I did a search for "Florida Gay Parade" and little did I know what I would find. Lake Worth Pridefest has largest turnout, first protest

LAKE WORTH Dallas. New York. Los Angeles. San Francisco. Lake Worth?
The city is now home to COMPASS, the fifth largest gay and lesbian community center in the United States, says its director, Tony Plakas.
And Saturday and Sunday's annual Pridefest reflected its growing presence here. Plakas estimated more than 12,000 people attended the two-day gay and lesbian celebration themed "There's No Place Like Home" - the largest turnout in its 16 years.
Men, women and children dressed as Dorothy and other characters from The Wizard of Oz, paraded down Lake and Lucerne avenues, together with the presumed bondage pros snapping their leather whips, the drag queens with rainbow eyelashes, the church youth groups.
"The synergy is spectacular," said Mayor Jeff Clemens of the festival just after COMPASS' grand opening last week.
Plakas said PrideFest also attracted far more vendors than in the past - 150 this year, including corporate ones such as MetLife, its reps pitching the insurance company's domestic partner deals.
Kerensa Butler, 36, a partner with the accounting firm McGladrey & Pullen and chairperson of COMPASS' board, said she had some 20 staff and support people from the firm out helping, their support of PrideFest "wonderful," she said.
But this year too, for the first time, as Plakas remembers, protesters appeared.
Four people including a man who identified himself as "preacher J.K." joined the parade with megaphone and giant banner declaring "Homo Sex is a Threat to National Security." The parade-goers booed and circled around the man, later identified as John Kranert, and sheriff's deputies appeared ordering Kranert out of the parade path.
Kranert of Miami was charged with disorderly conduct after putting his hands on an officer during the scuffle, according to witnesses and jail records.
"It just shows how much hatred is here still," said onlooker Lori Carrier of suburban West Palm Beach.
And the celebration of pride continued in the afternoon drizzle: the 6-foot man-Dorothy singing Over the Rainbow, the entertainment flowing, the vendor booths buzzing.
In this place like home.
Freedom of assemly speech is dead? Thanks, Charlie! He’s almost up to par with his evil twin Barack Obama.
If I was closer...I would be there. But I’m going to ours here, at Veteran’s Park.
I was at the one in Decatur, Al. on Saturday. The weather was marvelous, the speakers were great, the park was beautiful, and the river was full!
And we had a train to pass by very slowly, with the engineer just waving at us with our flags flying!
He was going so slow, he could read our signs.
All you Florida folks need to show up down there because we are still a free America!
Crist booed? It’s about time! He’s a terrible governor. He’ll be a terrible senator if the morons who voted for him pick him for that. Laziest bureaucrat on earth (unless it’s about a sporting event or marrying heiresses).
Crist is Fla’s Obama (they are both marxists).
I’m split on this. On the one hand, it would seem the whole point would be to show up in defiance of government control, as a further demonstration that people have had it with the bootheel of bureaucrats and their infernal rules.
On the other hand, if this is a standing regulation which is not overly difficult to comply with and it makes sense to have liability insurance, cleanup etc. After all, the next time gay animal rights commies want to hold a rally, if we set a precedent that you don’t have to cover these things, we’re going to be unhappy with those results.
Still, the crisis of the moment, and the need to make a LOUD statement of our discontent seems to be the guiding force. If it’s not too difficult to comply with the requirement, it would be good to do. If not, I hope they march regardless and make a big enough impression that even the filthy MSM can’t ignore.
Re: Cape Coral, FL:
I don’t know how long this will last, but I edited the Wikipedia page for the 1st Amendment to read:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances — as long as you have insurance.

lol - that’s good.
This is precisely what is wrong with any conservative movement. We are law-abiding citizens and they know we will adhere to the law which is why this country is in the condition it is now. How many are they going to put in jail?
LOL, it was fixed 7 minutes after your edit.
Here’s the article I was telling you about!!
LOL - That’s funny.
PS - It lasted seven minutes.
Yep. This was a gathering of conservatives. Don't think anyone there was impressed with Arnold of the East.
